I liked the previous version of Venta a lot and the improvements looked promising; unfortunately the sizing has changed, Large is now too large in new version, older version was a perfect snug fit. Will try the medium.

Perfect weight softshell glove with breathability, durability, and wind resistance. Touch screen functionality is very good compared to any other glove I've used. If the Venta AR had this, I'd likely have bought that glove instead. Once on, they fit great but the cuff needs more stretch as they are difficult to get your palm through. The sizing is frustrating as I always was a small in Arc' gloves before. The small was far too large and I needed to return them for an XS.

Medium Ventas just arrived very quickly by mail. But a good fit in the palms and thumb is spoilt by the excessive length in the fingers. Although the index finger length is not so bad ,but still too long for any touch screen use. Product description "leather reinforced palm and fingers" should read "index and thumb reinforced with faux leather tips. Palm and remaining fingers tips reinforced. Otherwise seems a well-made lightweight product.
Otherwise seems a good and lightweight product.

I purchased these primarily for x-c skiing. The material is right. The fit, not so much. I'm curious if a size down would work better!?
My suggestion is to articulate the fingers and palm for gripping so they don't bunch up while holding ski poles. I'm surprised they are not articulated for holding poles as they are advertised for x-c skiing.
I've repurposed these for walks, hikes and colder cycle commutes.

First use was a rainy day in Iceland. Just a drizzle really. After a few hours the fingertips started to leak.

These gloves are pretty comfortable and provide good protection but they are not super warm. If it's mildly cold your hands will get cold. If youre looking for some gloves to wear for protection on a mild day then they work pretty well. The seams on the inside are a little bulky and uncomfortable but you get used to it.

If the sizing were better I would love these gloves. My husband has an older version of this glove in size large. I purchased a size small and they are the same size as my husband's larges.

The gloves are fine however I think Arcteryx needs to train their sales associates better. I was looking for a glove I could wear in the rain and keep my hands dry and the sales associate said they are waterproof however they couldn't call them waterproof, only "weather resistant" because the stretchy cuff was permeable material. However my hands get soaked in the rain. Otherwise the glove is fine, although I would not have purchased them if I knew

Purchased these gloves and had to return them. The seam in the inside of the fingers where the goretex and fabric folds is too far down inside the fingers where it digs into your fingers inside the glove. I had this with 2 fingers on the right handed glove and the index finger in the left handed glove to the point where it was biting into my fingers and was very uncomfortable. The Quality inspection of these gloves should encompass someone wearing them to test it.

These gloves seem like they're made of very high quality, comfortable material. They were exactly what I was looking for in an "everyday" glove. Plus, I love the color! So I decided to try the XS, even though my measurements were a bit under the sizing guide. Unfortunately they did end up being too big. I'm normally a M in womens-sized gloves, which is not particularly small, so I'm a bit surprised these don't come in any smaller sizes.

Too clumsy and cold. The skin on the fingertips is too delicate.
Regular cheap fleece gloves are much warmer and more comfortable.

The gloves fit well but offer no warmth at all. The customer rep at the store confirmed that these gloves would stay warm between -5 to -10 degrees C but I found them wanting even at -2 degrees.

These glove were a nice fit for me. They are wind proof but they are not a warm glove!! I wear them cycling around the city and it almost feels like they are chilled on the inside my fingers are noticeably cold, almost feels worse than gloves that my hands are cold due to the wind cutting through them. Feel like they are refrigerated, sorry I didn't pay the extra money for a thicker pair. I would not recommend, don't live up to the Gore-tex hype.

I received the gloves today, and at first glance, they seemed fine. I removed the oversized tag from inside the left glove to prepare them for my first use. After taking a walk in -2C weather, I was satisfied with their warmth. However, I'm quite frustrated with the large gap between my arm and the cuff. The tag appears to be designed in a way that discourages returns, as it's practically necessary to remove it before using the gloves. If I hadn't removed the tag, I would have exchanged them for a smaller size to address the issue with the cuff.

Not comfy at all, not warm. Looks good and hugs the hand well. Light weight. Overpriced (as expected with arcteryx)

Giving 2 stars because I have owned these gloves for about 10 years and I prefer the old version way more. I owned a model from around 2016 and they've been my favorite glove since then for all spring, fall and winter activities. I've recommended them to many friends as well. The material on my old pair finally wore aware so much that there are holes in the finger tips so I decided to re-buy. Unfortunately the fit and design of this updated version is quite different. My old pair was a size small, and all other gloves I wear are small and this new size small is way too big. The fingers are about 1cm too long and the wrist and cuff are HUGE. The cuff material is a stretch knit, so expected to be snug on the wrist but there is a 3cm open gap, which allows wind to come in and makes the gloves shift around on my hand/handlebar because it doesn't hold in place. The material is still great and I do like that there is no leather on the palm now (because it would just get wet heavy and stay cold), but I much prefer the previous versions fit, and cuff design.

Fit is completely different from previous versions. I have had two pairs of Venta gloves prior to this version. I loved those gloves. They were fantastic active and casual daily gloves. They fit like a second skin. This version is very boxy, bulky, and hinders dexterity. I was gifted a new pair in XL, the same size as I have had previously, based on the size chart. They do not fit. Maybe the next size down would fit better, I don't know.

The glove itself is amazing (if I could have worn them). High quality, thin but enough padding. I measured my hand based off the chart and ordered small. They fit my husband who has a pair in size large. Not sure if I got a defective one. They were over an inch too big in the fingertips. Re0ordering an XS and hopefully they fit as they are not returnable.

These gloves are a complete letdown. Despite claims of wind-proof protection, my fingertips remained freezing even at a mild 2C (35F).

They fit good, however the seam is coming undone after less than 6 uses, which were just running, not actually physically using the gloves for anything, just warmth. I expected much more from this brand.

Very disappointed, not a replacement for the old venta gloves. Material is cheap, fit is all over the place. Not sure what these are intended for but deffinietly not ice climbing.

I am 70 years old and my finger tips get cold. So, I was looking for a pair of gloves that are warm but not bulky for driving and walking. The Venta gloves are comfortable and constructed well but are not as warm as I had hoped.

I wanted to love these gloves and I thought they would be the perfect glove for cold weather running. However, the gloves are huge! I had read the previous reviews so made sure to measure my hand carefully to ensure the correct size. It didn't matter. These gloves are too big and I will be returning.

I had the previous version of these gloves, and they were my absolute favourite. They finally fell apart on me after many years of hard use, so I treated myself to a new pair in the exact same size. I threw out all the packaging and brought them with me for a big ski mission. My mistake for not having tried them on first but I assumed they would be the same as before. They are HUGE. my hand floats in them. How can they be size small? and because I bought them from my local store (not an Arc'teryx store) Arc'teryx says there's nothing they can do even though i've never worn them. Really disappointed in the customer service and product sizing :(
