Smartwool socks are all I use anymore. This time, I did order large, instead of medium, because, while they don't shrink, they do tighten up a bit over time (but what a nice long time they last!). These are cozy, comfortable, warm, and soft.

Daily wear socks for me. They are exceptional. I also love DT socks but they get really tight around the calf/ ankle. These smart wool are perfect in those regards. They never feel tight on my calf, but stay in place. Great socks!

These socks are comfortable and stay up well. The extra padding on the back of the ankle for the Hike version is really nice with hiking boots. The pattern and colors is great as well.
