Excellent quality, stretch at calves and comfort.

Bought these for my son in law who is an avid skier. He said they are now the only socks he wears skiing.

These are the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. I am very thankful that Smartwool has the "extra stretch" size, which makes all the difference for my fat calves.

I recently got the Ski Extra Stretch Over The Calf Socks and, although I haven't had the chance to test them on the slopes yet, I can already tell they're going to be fantastic. Trying them on, they fit perfectly over my calves without feeling too tight or restrictive. The extra stretch makes them incredibly comfortable, and they stay in place nicely. The material feels high-quality, with just the right amount of cushioning. If they perform as well on the mountain as they do in my initial try-on, they'll be my new go-to ski socks!

The extra stretch seems to make a big difference. Other socks (some SmartWool, some other brands) dug in at the top around the calf. These do not -- can ski for hours without noticing them! By far the most comfortable we've found.

I really like the sock and the fit, it was spot on! I went and got the extra stretch ski sock. From the first, it was spot on! The feel was great, and the support was great at the foot of the sock. Did not feel like the sock was over-compressing my calf. This is my first Smartwool sock in a very long time, need the time to see if it is five-star worthy!

They are thinner on the calf more comfortable to get on and off. Procide warmth all day on the mountain.
