I have five pairs of Vidda Pro Trousers. In the past two weeks, the zippers on two of the trousers just came apart. They went to Goodwill. Also, my latest pair, the improved fit is way too big at the waist. Other than that, I like the trousers.

Vidda Pro Ventilated trousers are well made and worth the money. Great in the summer and the winter. Fit and finish are superb and run true to size. Glad I was introduced to these at REI.

No back pockets , ( maybe thats an American thing ) way to many front pockets. You're paying for a name !!! They are made in Vietnam . The price is comical.

i bought these at the start of the summer and wore them on a 45 day canoeing trip in northern Nunavut and i only took them off to sleep i got recommended these from a leader i had the previous year who wore them on our 30 day canoeing trip in northern Saskatchewan and said he couldnt get enough of them they are amazing i loved every feature about them and the only thing that wore was the water proofing all i have to do is re wax them and theyll be good as new again i extremely recommend these trekking pants

I bought this pair of pants about a month ago and used it for hiking about 3-4 times. Its excellent in terms of its durability. Really like the accesible pockets. The newer fit is better!

Do Norwegians have no behind? I am an average guy with glutious averagous, and boy is the articulation poor. I.e tight. I mean, they look so pretty. And cost so pretty. They must be... Mostly pretty. A minor lean forward and the consequent rear squeeze tells you all about the thought actually put into the pantaloons.

If "improved" means shorter length and narrower cuff, then yes, they are improved. Someone at corporate decided to cut corners, very disappointed. If you are tall and/or have big feet, don't bother.

No range of movement. Tight legs may be okay if your idea of an active life is sitting around sipping a latte, but if you truly enjoy the outdoors, look somewhere else for your clothes.

I have owned these pants for a couple years now and I am up to three pairs. The fabric is great but the stitching is kind of weak. Once you wash the wax out its a real pain to get it back in, so you really have to spot clean them if you want that. Without wax they are very breathable. With wax they are not so much, but they will shed water that way. Without wax, they dry in about a half hour. I keep a waxed pair for winter and an unwaxed pair for average to warm days. The snaps do get weak after consistent use.

If you plan to wear base layer with these, you probably have to size up. the size is pretty true to size. But the fabric is basically no stretch at all. So if you even plan to use these in the colder weather, try them on with your base layers.

This is my 4th pair of these and love them. My only wish is that Fjallraven would bring back the khaki colored from years ago. I will attach a picture of the newest suede brown in the middle, then the buckwheat color and then the khaki from probably 2015. This was the best color. Bring it back!!

Am female, 118 lbs 5'6", 71 yrs. These are ONLY pants worn. Have had for years too. Deep pockets, ventilation; sturdy, comfortable, look nice. Buy mens due to deeper pockets but bagger butt and thighs; well tailored. Hike, drive; walk dogs in them. Wash gentle; close all pockets flat; hang dry. could iron. Had for many years. In winter, use turtle neck, sweater; in summer, t shirt. Make really good travel pants; these have been around world. Got a dark and light pr. Buy on-line; Was at a"flagship" Fjallraven store in Denver; however, they did NOT have full inventory, so beware. Photo hiking on Colorado Trail

Best fitting cargo pants I ever owned. Not too baggy, and still allow good mobility. Many pockets for many things. Unfortunately they ripped on the first time out in the field. Its a small rip on the outside of a pocket, but still rather disappointing for the price I paid. I patched it, and continue to use them but would rather I didnt have to.

I got my first pair of these recently, and had really high hopes. My intention was to use these doing off-trail kind of outdoor activies (hunting, fishing, hiking, etc). I have worn these pants literally 2 times and the button is going to rip out if I wear them again. I have not made a warranty claim as of yet because I cannot find a phone number anywhere on the website. Companies that charge $200 for a pair of pants should be able to pay a real person to answer the phone. I have to say these pants are very comfortable, and I like the styling, but is that worth $170 versus $50 carhartts? I'm thinking not. Finally, they are made largely from polyplastic and the material is much lighter than I had envisioned. All in all, I'm pretty disappointed and probably won't buy another pair.

To short and to big based on other pants of the same size. I like that there is no ventilation for cooler weather. The Winter Trouser, Vidda Pro Light and Zipoff pants of the same size fit much better.

I live in the mountains of Pennsylvania and had wanted hiking trousers that could deal with the elements. This morning was 45 degrees F. with light rain. Within 20 minutes the front of the legs were soaked through. I have also discovered that in any colder weather these trousers are not going to keep you warm. For the money I would have thought I would be able to get my correct waist size , 31W. Overall disappointed in this product.
