Fantastic base layer for cold Canadian skiing. Breathes well and fits perfect.
Easy layering keeps you perfectly warm

All-time favourite base layer for cold temps (-15C and below). The hood of the Rho is simply amazing. It makes this layer so functional and warm acting like a balaclava without being cumbersome. Super easy to take on and off over a helmet. Love the ponytail "feature". Big fan.

Perfect for resort skiing in sub 20 degrees! I used this with a thin neck gator. Toasty!

I like using this garment as it is versatile with the hoody and face covering. It is nice under my jacket as the underlayer or on a coolish day for a run/cross country ski where a tuque might be too warm. Great idea!

This is a must-have piece for me whenever I go snowboarding. It's incredibly breathable, keeping me warm without overheating or sweating. I also love how the hood doubles as a balaclava, so I don't need to carry an extra piece of gear. Plus, it looks great as everyday wear, making it a versatile addition to my wardrobe!

I absolutely love the fit of this hoody for 24/25, it is flattering (skimming my torso without catching anywhere) and so comfortable to wear. The neck gaiter and hood are great.
I am going to buy a second one so that I always have one ready to wear!
I originally bought the Rho LT crew neck 24/25 but I really hate wearing it due to the awkward fit - I have to keep yanking at it as it rides up constantly (I had to return my usual size small due to the 24/25 unfortunate style fit change and got the medium instead) - I no longer wear it, what a waste of money. (love the 23/24 version though)

I love this shirt! It's breathable but also keeps me warm for my winter runs. I also love how I don't need to find a hat. The material is so soft and comfortable. For some reason I don't sweat much in this which I love because I won't be cold and wet.

This is a great layer for touring. I run cold and this layer is perfect for keeping me warm on the uptrack while still being breathable enough to not sweat. If there is wind, the hood and balaclava combo is perfect, and it makes it quick for me to pop my helmet on overtop for the downhill. As a bonus, this is a great layer for winter runs! Overall, I love this hoody.

Super top! Have worn hiking, biking, and kayaking in Antartica. It is fine to wear alone (as a top) or as a base layer. I have used the hood over a warm cap and it kept my ears toasty and warm.

LOVE THIS! Best cold weather running piece that I own. Winter running gamechanger! Warm and cozy, yet soft and light. I was concerned that I would feel suffocated without any mouth holes but not the case! Highly recommended,

They got it spot on with this one but have dropped a star because the price hikes across the board are making it tough for me to stick with my favourite brand. I can't fault the cut (love the shaping seams which are better than the Taema) and it skims the figure beautifully. I also find the hood a better fit and it stays put in windy conditions. The quality and warmth of the fabric is undeniably excellent and sizing perfect. I am a UK 12 and the medium is correct. Here's the rub for me: I love all the dark colours because they don't look grubby quickly. Black is easy to pair with everything else and it's my go to choice, but Arc'teryx produces too many lurid brights and insipid pales, which are the only ones that seem to go 'on sale' in the outlet. Surely that means they aren't selling so well and it might be better to bring down the price of the ones that are popular? Just a thought. Luckily I don't have to fork out an enormous price for a new jacket as I bought mine years ago and it's still going strong. I have to stick to less demanding priced garments on here or go without. It's a shame that there is also a trend on here towards "city wear" rather than mountain wear too. I'm sticking around a bit longer and grabbing a price drop if I see one. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of these if it was reduced but shushleave them in M for me.

I love this base layer for running! If the sleeves were slightly longer with thumb holes and a watch window, I would give it 5* and buy it in every color available!

Do I have to take it off? Buttery soft, perfect length, great hood neck gaiter combo
My new favorite layer for all winter activities. Hood fits great under my helmet so I dont need to wear anything extra on the mountain. Can wear the hood over or under a baseball style hat making morning dog walks enjoyable.

Love the color, the fit is perfect-trim but not skin tight, and love the built in buff at the neck. I already wear this all the time but will be a go-to layer for almost everything outside this winter

I have 2 of these hoodies, and I don't think I'll buy a different style ever again. The built in balaclava stays in place, locks in warmth where I typically lose it, and the fleece is buttery soft (to quote a certain legging manufacturer). Great colorways, runs true to size, and holds up to years of use with minimal pilling.

Runs true to size. I wear a size 8 and the medium fit perfect. have a long torso and it fits great. I love the hood, and it can still be worn for daily wear (hood style isn't obvious).
