I bought this as a possible replacement for athleta Rainer leggings which Ive been doing short winter hikes in. I liked the high waist, and the feel of them on my skin but the sizing was off for me. They seemed to be longer than 26 and were tight in the ankles (more than was comfortable for me) and in the waist. The lower belly area was fine but the waist line seemed smaller than it should be for size of leggings. I ended up sending them back. Its rare for me to send anything back to arcteryx, I really wanted to love them.

I absolutely love these leggings and I cannot put into words how excited I was to realize this version has a drawstring!!! I have only run in mild weather (0 to -5C) in these so far but Im certain that Ill be living in these all winter. They are super cozy and stay securely in place. In regards to sizing, I got a size 6 (usually 4 or 6) and although I was a tad worried they wouldnt fit as I pulled them on, they are perfect.

Holy tightness! What a dreamy fabric (soft and so smooth) but what a super tight fit! I will use these as tights under dresses and tunics during winter. If you want room to breathe, order a size larger. My shape: 5'3" and 140 lbs = size 10 stuck to me like thick snot.

In under 35 F, I have to wear a base layer under my leggings to warm myself stay outdoors. Until I found this leggings from Arc'teryx, I didn't have to. Pockets are very helpful. Although front seam doesn't create an issue, I wish without it.

I have an athletic build at 5'2" and normally wear a size 4 in Essent leggings. For these, there's no way a 4 will work. I'll need to size up to a 6 at least, if that will work. Think "sausage casing look" and "circulation interrupted." Sizing is way off on the pair I received, and frankly, they just seem like fleece turned inside out that isn't that stretchy. Love the stratus color but not thrilled with these leggings. They're going back.

Good: material and stitching quality. Needs improvement: legs need to be longer to fit average height and taller women; waist should be higher rise by at least 1" especially in the back; waist should be tighter, calf and bum should be roomier to fit athletic bodies; remove inner leg seam as in most premium running tights. Fit notes: The waist is too loose and low, calves and bum area tight, and the legs are far too short for winter tights. They're cropped length on me, and I'm not tall. I would consider buying a longer version with a higher rise. The current rise is too low causing a wedgie, particularly in the back - possibly due to lack of space for glutes. For reference, I am 5'5" with a hip-waist differential of 10" (i.e., matching the size chart measurements), athletic build. Recommend for: short petite women with apple-shaped or rectangle-shaped bodies

Super disappointed with these. I'm normally a size 6 so I ordered a size 6 since they say they're "stretchy" not even close. I need to have ordered AT LEAST a size 8 or even a 10. Half of my leg doesn't fit into the legging, it's crazy. I'd like to exchange sizes but they don't offer exchanges and because I got mine using a one time discount code, they don't honor it. When the pair is returned, you must pay full price now. Not impressed :(

The description "excellent stretch" is quite misleading... these barely have any stretch. It is almost an extreme sport to get them on! That said, once they are on, they stay put, but I have to inch my way into them since there isn't a stretch. I am a typical size 8 (american sizing); I ordered a 10, since Arc'Teryx typically runs "small" for me. I just barely fit into the 10, but have managed to make them work.
