I've been waiting to get another one of these in a L for 4 months now. Hopefully they don't discontinue this model. This is an excellent coat for rain and slightly windy conditions. Hoping to buy again when they restock!

A crackly sound emitter, as are many waterproofed items, but other than that minor complaint, this is a handsome, thoughtfully designed and well manufactured shell parka. It fits me to a "T". I am 5'6", 122 pounds, and the small is a perfect fit over a sport coat. A great light layer against wind and wet, both in and out of urban environment. Perfect length for both body protection and comfortable movement.

Fits a little bigger than I expected but it leaves just enough room to layer underneath so it's perfect. Love the length on this jacket and the button on the back to adjust it, great job North Face

The jacket is really nice, offering wind and rain protection, however keep in mind that the parka model is longer and a bit oversized than the regular model. You might need to order a size up. 6'2" 190 lbs athletic and felt like a small was the best fit.

I use this in town & country. It's long and keeps my thighs fairly dry if not wearing rain pants. It will cover a sport jacket. Also zips both wayslots of shorter high end rain jackets zip bottom up only.

I like the quality and length of the jacket. My suggestion would be to have snaps or Velcro on the wrists to make the sleeves fit a little better. I would also recommend putting an inside pocket on all your jackets.

Great rain jacket and stylish

The Jacket is great. Really keeps you dry when its raining. It has a great style. But there is a whole already in the pocket (inside).

This coat was purchased mainly to make local bicycle transport more realistic on rainy days. It is simple, basic, works very well. I wanted basic utility and got basic utility. I got a bit more than that. Folds up small so easy to take along when rain is only threatened. Looks much better than the catalog picture. It is only a raincoat and will never be a fashion star, it does look fairly good. The hood stays out of the way when not needed and works really well, really easily. Pockets are well placed, work well. The velcro tabs on placket almost fasten themselves, when full zip protection is not needed the velcro does the trick on autopilot. A really good raincoat.
