I've had several Paradigm versions over the years. This one isn't great. Less pronation support, heal rubs, sole feels ridid.

These feel like a completely different shoe than the previous versions, and not in a good way. The instep is much stiffer and kills my flat feet. I can't take the shoes any more.

This is my first pair of Altras and a hole developed above my big toe on my left shoe. Had the shoes less than 3 months. For such an expensive shoe I would have expected better wear. Altra would not warranty or replace shoe. I only walk and don't run.

I've logged thousands of miles on Paradigms. These are a huge miss, especially since the 6's. I wore these on several training runs prior to a marathon and they felt like boards on the feet, a much different feel from other models. My knees hurt after each run, i figured it was just the break in period, which I've never really experienced on other Altra's. I wore these in a marathon and about half way in my feet were on fire... it felt like every time my foot struck the ground I was hitting a brick, very odd coming from such a historically good shoe. Whatever they did on the 7 was a big mistake. Wish I could get back to the comfort and feel of the Paradigm 6's. Sent these back.

Had the shoes for over 3 months now. Too stiff and makes my running worse. Perfect for walking and everyday use though.

Been with Altra since 2011,seen all Torins and Paradigms and the last on the Paradigm 7 is the worst so far.The sidewall design is too irritating.People that need stability have flat feet and need room for not only the toes to spread, but especially the midfoot. The guiderails/sidewalls put too much pressure on my midfoot when I step, especially my navicular bone.Feels like stepping into a cup, instead of on top of the last.Cushion was good, upper was comfortable, good laces. The fit was too irritating for flat feet..nice toe box and build quality.Put the foot on top of the last with a 3mm rise on inside of last from heel to toe and I would buy that. The paradigm 6 only needed more room in midfoot to be good, but the 7 has more irritation

I know this is a support shoe but my lands this shoe is stiff and inflexible. Feels very clunky and hard with every strike. Also the area around the ankles rubs! Other altras are great..not this 1

Paradigm 7s have way too narrow of a midfoot. Tried multiple pairs to make sure it wasn't a manufacturing issue. My wife had the same experience with women's. Would avoid.

Ran about 40 miles on the trails and they were great. Then finally ran on pavement and got injured. Then noticed the sole is different. It has no bounce like old paradigms. It's cheap foam. So sad.

I have had these for 2 months and they are some of the most uncomfortable I've ever owned. They make my feet cramp. They push on my little toe even though there is space between my big toe and the side of the shoe. I was sick during the window of returning them so I was not able to replace them. I have no desire to go anywhere because my feet hurt too much.

I use this shoe on a treadmill. I've had several versions of this shoe with the "Original Footshape". They were absolutely Fabulous. You decided to fix something that wasn't broken by changing the Footshape to standard from original. I can no longer wear the shoe I loved. I have to cut slits in the shoes so my little toes won't form corns.

I'm a big fan of the Paradigm 6 and I was so looking forward for the 7's. The fit is nothing like the 6's, my feet were swimming in the 7's. I wear a size 14, and a pretty standard medium width. I returned them and now it's time to find a new Altra to try
