We bought the basketball shoes as they tend to hold up better. They are also one of the few pairs that offer a standard tie for smaller sizes. The laces looked ridiculously long in the black version. We also bought the blue pair, which had normal length laces. I doubt the company will do anything if we call as we have had problems before with other laces fraying and they don't have replacements to send.

Nice shoe. Standard tie, which is hard to find in smaller sizes. Durable bottom and rubber cover to protect toebox from getting scraped. A little bright, but only shoe I could find with blue/navy.
