Fits true to size, well made and great for a wind and water resistant shell. The only drawback is it has very restrictive movement. It's great for fooling around in the city, but if you're going climbing you might want something else.

Not the same quality as my old apex bionic jacket. It did not have bottom draw strap and is 2 inches longer than my old jacket.

I bought this jacket to replace my old TNF jacket. It's comfortable but I miss when zippers were metal and the logo was embroidered on, not just a rubbery iron on logo. Those two things really make the jacket feel lower quality than TNF used to be.

It is a very nice jacket, unfortunately it was a bit too small. I'm returning it to purchase a larger size for my sister.

Best jacket; versatile, can layer, great in mid-temp climates, can dress up or down. Favorite by far. What happened to the colors? Always black, grey, and brown now. Bring back blue, white, green, a random color or two, or some creative mixes, even if limited runs.

Stiff material that is noisy when it moves.

What happened to North Face's flattering tapered fit? The jacket itself is constructed well, nice materials. The fit is too loose and relaxed. Usually, NF medium size fits me perfectly. This item is cut like a 33 gallon leaf bag, not flattering at all, even considering room to layer.

Nice jacket and materials seem to be sophisticated, but runs a bit large and it's quite hard and coarse.

Like the jacket but the quality went down since my last purchase of the same jacket two years ago. The apex 2 was a much better quality through and through. Still happy with my purchase but the price should match the quality

The small is HUGE and it doesn't appear you have an extra small. I will be returning, it seems your sizes are getting bigger cause this is one of three I've bought recent that the small was too big

Disappointed. For the price of 160+ I was expecting a more coat like style. For when the weather is not to cold or to rainy. It's more like a fleece to me. Can't wear it over a sweater. Its' more a stand along coat. The style and material is nice. I'll keep it. But for those looking to use it as an light overcoat. Might be good to look for another style.

I was replacing my old Apex, somehow the design and fit changed, runs bigger and without the old Velcro cuffs the sleeves hang down below the wrist, quite disappointing, I returned it

I loved the jacket but the size small was too big on mean and they don't make an xs so now I had to return the jacket. I normally wear small in the Denali so I thought this would fit but it was too big.

Bought this to replace a 20 year jacket (L) which fit well. This version fits like an XL (I'm 6'1", 175lb). I tried the M in store and it was too small.

Purchased for a mid-weight jacket to throw on and take care of errands during spring and fall in a mountain town in Colorado. I gave a 3 star rating as the sleeves bunch up a lot at the elbows when bending arms. Other than that issue the jacket has a nice cut and look.

Bought as a gift for my husband after his old one started tearing in the pockets. The comparison of the older version soft shell vs this "new" one made me realize how bad the quality of newer North Face items has gotten. The actual soft shell no longer feels like soft shell. The inner lining is noticeably thinner than the older version as well. Overall the quality felt comparable to something from SHEIN with the north face logo stamped on. Only giving it 2 stars because the design has remained the same & shipping was fast, otherwise, spend your money on a better quality soft shell jacket elsewhere!!

This is my 3rth Apex Bionic Jacket, I've noticed some changes between the first one and this one, no more sleeve straps and the material doesn't feel as strong as my first and second jacket bought tree years ago

Plastic zippers!? Really! The quality sucks. I have two other Apex bionic jackets, and this one is of inferior quality. Plastic zippers, the coat is 2 inches long and looks awkward. I love the color, but less heft to it. I will not support these changes North Face and others did, would NF make the changes back. Disappointing!

Fit is odd, tight in the body and the arms are very very long.
