I will use this parka on my trip to the Dolomites, as it gets quite cold and drizzly in the fall over there. I love the water-proofing on the outer layer and the soft, very warm, fluffy inner layer. Furthermore, I find the color, light gray, quite pleasant and practical (can be seen much more easily at night, and it will not soil quickly like white would). Something I could do without are the Velcro straps on the storm flap, which get stuck on hair or anything woolly. I think they could have used larger snaps that are much more practical and durable. Overall, I like the parka very much, and I love the customer service as well (I am talking about the Fashion Island store in Orange County, California). I had to make an exchange in size and since the item was not available at the store, they made the exchange for online purchases without a problem, and had it shipped to my home. Great guys indeed.

warm, lightweight and great during rain

I bought the small, I am 5 ft about 130lbs. I can fit a sweater or sweatshirt comfortably underneath it. That was a big deal for me, I like layering especially in the winter. Haven't tired it in the snow/sleet but love the lining the most!

Very well made. and beautiful deep black. Well worth the money. I love the special touches like the cuff that covers the top of your hand and the magnets that hold the storm flap together. Also seems very warm. However, runs HUGE. I always wear an XL in shirts, jackets, and coats. I ordered the XL and it was HUGE, at least two sizes larger. Returned, debating whether to order a large.

I had ordered a women's shelbe raschel parka and tracking number showed it was not moving from one location to another. I called and I received the parka overnight. That is excellent service! It was a gift and arrived on time. Service and follow thorough was great!

I didn’t think I would like this jacket as much as I did! I’m 5’0”, 140 lbs, and I bought the SM. It’s a little bit tight, but it somehow looks great on me :-)

I have this jacket and I love it!! I was looking to get a different color (gray or navy?) I don't like it with the belt at all.

I loved the jacket and I've been wearing it a lot. It protects from the rain, is very comfortable, and keeps me really warm.

I wanted to keep this so bad. It’s flawless. It fits me a tiny bit large and I’d like to try a medium instead. It’s expensive and I would love it if it went on sale even a little. This parka is worth it!! I hope to own it one day!

So stylish. Adjustable belt is a plus. Can be worn casual or with dressy clothes.

Lightweight, warm and comfortable.

Perfect & it's furry inside, yess. I've been looking for a stylish everyday coat and this is perfect. Easy to throw over a hoodie for extra warmth or just on it's own is warm too.

Great quality. Weatherproof

This is exactly the mid-weight coat I was looking for to wear in the fall and late winter/early spring. The longer length, hood, and wind resistance are great for keeping warm, and the light, soft lining also provides the perfect amount of warmth for temps in the 30s and 40s without overheating like down insulation would at those temps. I wear this coat walking to and from a bus stop six blocks away for my commute to and from work. It looks fine with my dressy work clothes while still functioning very practically. I don't particularly care for or need the belt/sash in the back, and the bulkiness of it actually hurts my back when sitting against it while driving, so I have to unbutton it and let it hang on the sides. I also don't love the Velcro on the entire length of the front flap covering the zipper, but I realize it's necessary for wind and water resistance. Other than those two minor issues, I love this coat, including the grey color which goes with everything. I already have enough black coats, so the color options for this coat are great.

The fit is very good. Love the soft inside liner, very warm. The only downside is the Velcro on the outside.
