I am very disappointed with this winter jacket purchase. After only a short period of use, the goose down started coming out from multiple areas of the jacket. Feathers are constantly poking through the fabric and shedding everywhere, which is extremely frustrating and messy.
For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and durability. A winter jacket should be able to retain its insulation without leaking feathers. The stitching and outer material do not seem strong enough to properly contain the down filling.
Overall, this product did not meet my expectations in terms of quality and performance. I would not recommend this jacket, especially considering the cost.

I recently purchased four North Face jackets, 1 men's, 2 women's, and 1 child and I am thoroughly disappointed with my experience. Unfortunately, all three adult jackets ran about a size too small. To make matters worse, one jacket's zipper failed after a few months of use- lifetime warranty? Honestly, the zipper feels cheap and way too small for a coatit's unacceptable for a brand of this supposed caliber.
What truly exacerbated this situation was my interaction with North Face's customer service. Their response was not only dismissive but also condescending and combative. When I explained that my child would be coatless during the coldest winter months, they showed no empathy. Instead of offering a practical solution, they insisted that I send the defective jacket back as part of their warranty process. This would leave me without a jacket for 6-8 weeks while they "decided" whether to reimburse or fix it. For a brand that prides itself on quality and performance at a premium price point, this is completely unacceptable. The poor quality of their jackets and the abysmal customer service have left me furious. I expected much higher quality and customer care. Unfortunately, both the product and the service have fallen far short of my expectations.

I like the look and warmth of this jacket, but the down feathers were coming out EVERYWHERE (not just the seams) and I looked like a plucked chicken. The outer shell fabric is simply too thin to contain the feathers properly, and it especially stands out with the black fabric color. I've been leaving a trail of little white feathers on my car seat, scarves, and whatever the coat rubs against. Disappointing for such an expensive coat.

Poor Craftsmanship! Down feathers fell out of tiny holes in the fabric and lead to poor insulation in the sleeves. Lack of structure/padding caused tears in the material in less than 2 months after purchase.

Don't buy! The quality is not like it used to be. Immediately after I got it the down started falling out and they won't let me return it or replace it

The feathers are coming out from inside and after one wash the jacket is completely ruined! With this price I would expect at least one year before throwing it out

The design of the jacket doesn't allow you to wear the jacket without being fully zipped. You cannot partially unzip the jacket without the top hitting you in the face. You can't lay the collar flat due to the way the hoodie is connected. I absolutely hate the jacket. It hurts being hit in the neck and face by the top of the jacket.

This hoodie has an awkward fit. It was too wide and short. Don't recommend.

The part of the coat at the top of the zipper (around the neck area) sticks up so much and gets in the way of your face. It is really stiff and doesn't lay down flat- so that unless you have it all the way zipped up the sides are hitting you in the face whenever you turn your head slightly. Really annoying and made me have to return.

Too small could have gotten a bigger size.
