This is a solid jacket. Feels well constructed and I am hoping that it will last a long time. It is a great everyday jacket in our rainy climate.

This shell is the absolute GOAT of hardshells. I've used it for hiking, skiing, bopping around town and even boating. It looks as beautiful as the day I got it, and the cut & collar setup are incredibly flattering. Well worth the investment.

I have owned this jacket for over 6 years and it's held up great!

Great jacket. I've used this as a rain jacket in torrential downpours and it's my primary ski shell. The hood is the best in the rain of any jacket I've ever used. The fit is good with enough space to layer, but not too bulky feeling. The only complaint I have is after several years the zipper has become a little finicky and sometimes separates. Even after washing an lubricating the zipper I still have this issue. Otherwise this jacket feels perfect as a very waterproof do everything shell

Bought this last season and absolutely love it. Only complaint is that the sleeves are really too long. I'm 6'1" 185lbs and wearing a medium.

Great gear and a great company! My jacket from 2019 the zipper broke and they replaced the jacket. I'm so happy! The size XL was a bit big (I'm 6.2 and 220 lbs and fit) but very happy to not get a L. Overall great quality and great experience!

Just bought this as my first Arcteryx jacket and I am liking it so far. Compared to the Beta I like the Goretex pro material better as it feels more durable. I wanted something that could do it all so the All-Round (AR) made the most sense. Can't wait to take it hiking, camping, and more! No more trapped heat with the pit zips which I needed to have, and the draw strings for the hood adjust well to my small head + hat combination. Drop hood is nice and comfortable. Looks great. Pockets are a good length and size.

This is a fantastic jacket with an apparent quality of build. The waterproof and windproof protection is next level. The pit zips do make this a true all rounder whether you're in the hills or commuting to work. The size is great. It doesn't feel too bulky with just a base layer but allows other to layer up underneath with a decent down jacket. It does have a crinkly sound but it's gortex pro and a durable one at that so a fine compromise.

Haven't had a chance to try the BETA AR in bad weather yet but the construction seems solid. BUT if you can, go to an Arc'teryx Store and learn about the different products. The manger in Manhasset NY gave me a thorough explanation about the differences in the products. Great experience!

I have owned jackets and clothing from every line Arc'teryx has to offer I keep going back to my Beta AR. It excels at everything I throw at it. Highly recommend!!!

I have now had this jacket for a few months and it's become my most worn article of clothing. AR is literal in this sense. It is light, very well engineered, and is simple yet sophisticated with its looks. I had tested the Beta and Beta LT in store to get an idea of the sizing and can confirm this jacket is a bit "baggier" than the other two which are more formfitting. Is that a bad thing? No, I've noticed the benefits this fall as the ability to layer underneath has been such a welcome! My favorite part of this jacket? Feeling invincible as you trek through rain. I've gone on bike rides, hikes, and walks to the supermarket and water has had no chance of getting me wet when I get caught in it. Pit zips are far more used than I thought and really help with cooling off if you start to sweat a little. If I needed a new one, I'm getting one without hesitation.

My go to shell. Must have for international travel (winter in Switzerland, rainy season in Asia).

The Beta AR as well as other products are so well made - beautiful. Also, the customer service is actually unbelievable its so good. Beta jacket is 10 years old and looks brand new

Beta AR is my go to ski jacket for all Alpine conditions. I have purchased several brands and styles through the years and nothing compares to Beta AR!!!!

I like the Beta AR so much I bought two. After 20 years of searching Gotre-tex-jackets I finally found the Beta AR. It fits med perfect and is quite roomy. I love the feel of quality and the look. The hood is really useful. I would like two impovements: A quiter fabric and a roomy mesh pocket on the inside (like on the Alpa SV).

I bought it to replace and old Arc'teryx jacket and I love it for Skiing, Alpine Touring, and Ice climbing

I have had my Beta AR for a while and it has become my go-to shell for skiing, hiking and traveling. It is sturdy enough to withstand hard use and light enough to carry in a small backpack or carry-on suitcase without taking up any space.

Amazing feel and protection, could use more pockets

I've been using the jacket since Spring and it's served me very well. The waterproofing is insane compared to other jackets I've used in the past, and I'm very glad I invested in an Arc'teryx Beta AR.

Had my beta for 10 years and it survived all the use and abuse. Used it for skiing, hiking and even as my rain jacket around town. Loved how easy it was to pack up and Arc'teryx customer service was really helpful when I needed to repair it.
