Love this jacket! Lightweight yet very warm, I wear it most days through the winter (I live in NW Montana). Not too warm on warmer days, keeps me toasty on cold days.. it's kinda magic! Could be more feature rich, but I like the simplicity. The features it does have work excellently!

This is an amazing jacket. It is warm , yet light. I've owned several over the years and they have all held up very well from the zippers to the shell fabric. I love this jacket.

Love this product. It's a staple in my backcountry kit. I take it as my emergency layer that adds comfort and support if you have to wait around when the clouds roll in or wind picks up. It's packable and light, yet has amazing warmth.

Great warmth to weight ratio. Used it on many alpine climbs in the winter in the Alps and always appreciated how small it packed in the backpack.

love the product the zippers on the pockets could be a little lower to allow your wrists to hang more comfortably in the pockets while walking etc, but other than that, love the product

Male, 5'9", 170lbs, 42" chest, athletic build. Jacket fits wonderfully. The down is ridiculously lofty. I have the cerium w/out a hood. Had it for three years+ with no issues. Expect the same from this one.

I was searching for an alternative to my bulky Canada Goose jacket and popped into the Yorkdale Arc'teryx store to see what I could find. The staff were incredibly helpful and pointed me towards the Cerium Hoody and I'm so glad they did. It's SO warm, light, and comfortable to wear in and out of the car. What I love most about it is how well I can layer it. Standalone, it's a solid piece down to 0, down to about -6 I'd throw on an insulating base/mid layer, and -10 and below I insulate, add the Cerium, throw a shell over it and I'm good to go! Whether I'm walking my kids to school, or guiding a hike this jacket will always be on.

I recently went on a 2 week Europe trip to London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Prague during early Janurary and I was looking for a good lightweight jacket to keep me warm during the cold European winter days. After much research I decided to go with the Cerium hoody and I was not disappointed. The price was scary but after 2 weeks in 19-30F days this jacket shocked me. It is extremely lightweight, looks amazing, and is insanely warm for its size. On my trip I wore it every day and with only a shirt underneath, even on the 19F nights, and it always kept me warm. It is also very windproof. Being a pretty thin guy I'm always looking for lightweight warm jackets that also look good and this is by far the best I've had. Will definitely be buying more Arcteryx in the future!

The fit is excellent and the functionality are just as expected. Really like the use of zippers across all pockets and the single adjust hood for optimal fit in different use cases.

perfect all season layer. the cerium jacket is great for the city under a shell during a cold rain or for sitting around the fire on a cool night while camping. very versatile jacket, i never travel without it whether i'm going to paris or pukaswa. it packs up to the size of a tennis ball, you'll never regret having this jacket. i wear it 3 seasons in the city, but i also bring it with me in the summertime on trips, it has come in very handy on long air conditioned bus trips in hot climates, and recently i was glad to have it when a friend caught a chill on a summer camping trip and was without sufficiently warm clothes. great jacket.

Will give it a test drive this coming week. I loved the last one. I would like to see a much stronger loop on the stuff bag and a better anchoring of that loop. A fixed name/ contact info label with the other labels or attached to the stuff bag would be very useful or offer that as an option. You guessed it, the loop on my last one broke during a previous trip. I had contact info on one of the product labels, but it hasn't made it way back home in more than a month.

This is a great insulation layer coat. It fits excellent, its warm, and packs well in the bag provided. My favorite part is the hood though, its snug and not obnoxious to have on. Cuts the wind decent for a down coat.

This is a upgrade for me from a very similar (by design and concept) Columbia packable down puffy that I'd worn for a while and quite liked, but just wasn't very warm, and took a bit of work to pack down to the size I wanted. This is a different league, as expected. Fit/Comfort: I'm 5'6, 130 lbs, 28" waist, 37" chest, very fit. I got the XS. It's snug, as I wanted it to be, and cut extremely well; I can even wear it comfortably over a wool turtleneck and a blazer (I wouldn't try fitting more than that underneath, though). I also want to mention that the sleeve lining is shockingly not sweaty, making this the first jacket I've ever had with synthetic non-fleece-lined sleeves that's actually comfortable on bare skin (along with the Macai, which may somehow be even slightly more comfortable on bare skin). All told, it's extremely comfortable. Weight/Packability: Not the lightest on the market, but very light, and I particularly like that it uses an attached stuff sack, because I wind up with zipper concerns from jackets that pack into their own pockets. The empty stuff sack tucks away into the interior pocket quietly. The stuff sack is also sort of tubular with a squared bottom, and the shape allows for easy packing along the side or across the top of even a small ruck. Warmth: Almost excessive. In 0C (32F) on a cloudy day in central Europe, I wore this over just a t-shirt and was entirely comfortable; I lived in the northern Rocky Mountain region for a while and have a good cold tolerance, but I don't really run hot, and was surprised this jacket kept me warm. Don't put it on until you're headed out the door or you'll be sweating by the time you do. I can't imagine high-intensity activity in this unless the temps were sub-zero Fahrenheit. For me, hiking in 15-35 Fahrenheit with a single wool base layer, gloves, and a hat is a good space for this hoody. It's very, very warm. Overall, an amazing option for packable warmth with an excellent fit.
