I own the Atom LT and while I wear it more than any other jacket in my closet, the biggest struggle is that the zipper slips!? Specs claim "No Slip" but i can very easily pull the jacket completely open without even touching the zipper. Sometimes it even comes open on its own if I am being active or pull too hard at the pockets. I bought this new revised jacket hoping they would have solved the problem but it's the same issue. Arc'teryx if you ever get that fixed I would happily buy this jacket over and over again but for now I'll look for something different.

Two month of sporadically wearing it and It shows degradation on the chin and other places. The fabric is not of good quality for a jacket of this price. Insulation is ok but not the best. Best thing is the light weight and the looks.

Was looking to upgrade my Atom AR Hoody, tried a couple of sizes but sent them back. Sizing /fit is really poor with the hoody baggy in places and the material seems significantly downgraded since the 2020 model. No idea what the design team are up to or if this is cost cutting but the hoody is no where near the previous version in quality or fit.

Sent it back, sizing/fit is bad (also the material feels cheaper/worse) - 2021 model was MUCH better... pls revise it back to the 2021/2022.

This years Atom AR (heavyweight) feel a great deal cheaper than previous years - and with a substantial price increase. In addition to fabric that just feel crinkly and cheap there is now an additional branding on the hood which feels like overkill. Part of what made this line so appealing in the past was the subtle/understated style. I will be returning the jacket unfortunately.

I've purchased dozens of Arc'teryx products over the past 15 years and love everything. I would the dozens of Arc'teryx products I've purchased as 4 or 5 without fail. However, I am unable to rate or review the jacket I recently ordered online for my son because it has not been delivered. I have not received my package from courier as of Dec 5 . It was due to be delivered Dec 3. However I was notified of a delay via email from courier company on Dec 3 (apparently due to severe weather). That would have been reasonable except the weather has been clear and sunny in my area with no storms or inclement weather. I have not received an update or follow up email so I'm assuming the jacket is still at depot just 2 hrs from my house. I am very dissatisfied with the courier service.

Fit is horrible for athletic built men. Arcteryx and some European brands were the only outdoor clothes that used to fit my very athletic frame: 6.3ft tall at 220lbs muscle!!! Now, their new fit is NOT LONGER for athletic and sporty people.. Arcteryx decided to tailor their clothes for unsporty, out-of-shape people with a belly. Hence all size L / XL & XXL are now super wide and boxy in the frame. What a disappointment.

The new size is too tight for small. It skips the 38 which was small size in the former sizing. Now it has 35 and 37, very strange sizes. Need the former sizing back! Otherwise Arcteryx would lose business. Returning customers will not find a fit!

Appalling quality! The fabric is prone to abrasion in the chin area, as it is not protected in any form. If you have a short beard the jacket will break within weeks of wearing and will look cheap and broken. Any contact of the warranty department resulted in rejections and quite frankly poor handling of the case. I thought Arcteryx stands for quality. But thats long gone it seems ... Will shop somewhere else from now on ...

As a long time Arcteryx fan, with multiple pieces in my closet, this was a huge let down and I am very disappointed. I purchased the new version of this jacket seeing as how much I loved my old one (approx 4 years old). This jacket used to be perfect. The updated fit is loose and sloppy. The neck opening seems smaller. It is tight when the jacket is fully done up, while wearing a heavy sweater underneath. Tight to the point that it is choking me. The zipper gets stuck when doing up the jacket. The zipper also does not go up smoothly. Why would Arcteryx cheap out on the zipper? If you are paying for a premium jacket, the zipper should at least work properly. Unfortunately I am stuck with this thing since I have removed the tags.

I've owned 3 atom AR Jackets since 2014. Hands down its the best jacket ever. However, this most recent revision took the text Arcteryx off of the front logo while the rest of the atom line has it there, this is a huge down grade for the jacket unfortunately.
