the old jester is way better than this. The front pocket is half a pocket so it won't reach the bottom of your backpack. This makes it super top heavy if you put a lot in it. The only reason why I got a new heater is because the old one had little small circle gaps in the padding of the back. This would cause my leggings to pill so bad. Also this new jester is very stiff and ninja turtle looking. But maybe once i break it in, i'll be better

My daughter picked this out for her school backpack. Plenty big enough to hold all her things and the gold details make it more stylish! Hoping it holds up for a few years. We have another NF backpack and we have had it now for many years.
