Recently purchased this for my daughter and would be the most cute and perfect everyday shoes, the Velcro will not stay now. The shoes are very narrow for little kiddos growing feet. The size is good but too narrow!

It's a great concept for a sneaker, especially for my son with Autism. So easy to get on and off. The strap would provide an extra barrier between him and his socks. However, the strap is far too short. I love the shoe overall, but without the strap there's little to no support once the elastic in the laces wears. They will not last as long as anticipated unfortunately. Maybe an adjustable strap would be more effective.

They have changed this shoe from previous versions. It is so narrow and tight. I bought the next size up for my son, they fit him perfect now and actually maybe too small but wanted them to be big for future. Unfortunately he wore them outside without me knowing and now I can't return them so big waste of money there. Think I'll pass on these shoes for him from now on, too narrow and his foot is not wide. Cushioning and look is great. Bummer.

I bought because my little one has wide feet and from the pictures they seem to have a wide toe box. They do not. I sized up as I usually do for my kid. They were big lenghth wise and too small to velcro. If your kid has wide feet I would not recommend. Very narrow, cute styles though!

Why is it just the toddler shoes that are wide with a round toe box?! Kids need wide shoes and round toe boxes too vans pls

I sweat Vans is making shoes more narrrow and parts like straps as short as possible to cut back on the amount of materials needed to make a shoe. They charge the same price but you are literally getting less shoe. The strap is so short it will not reach the velcro to close the shoe. My son wears a size 11.5-12 in other Vans styles but I purchased this pair in 12.5 to give some room for growth and it would not fit on his foot at all. Unreal. Entirely unwearable and illogical sizing.

I would give these a zero if I could. The way the strap is there is a small piece of plastic that part of the strap hooks on. Our plastic part broke off onto the strap after about 6 times wearing these. The strap will not stay down now.

The color of the bleed thru onto my son's socks and to his feet. The grass at his school was damp and he played in the grass and completely ruined not on his shoes but his socks. I've never known of Vans to do this, has this happened to anyone else? I also had to alter the shoes because the strap was too short and so I cut strap and laces off and put regular laces. I really liked these shoes on my 7 year old , but so disappointed.

These did not last long and waste of money. Only lasted 2 months. Cheaply made

My son has wide feet and I have a hard time finding toes for him. These arrived and I opened the box and just visually I could tell they were not going to fit. They didn't even look wide foot I was very confused they are the same width as all the other shoes my son has. Very disappointing. I did have him try them on and they were too tight for him. Anyway I'll be returning and on the hunt for wide shoes again.

My daughter has always loved this shoe. I purchased her a size larger, and it appears to have been redesigned. It is now more narrow and the Velcro strap is shorter. She can no longer wear the shoes, since they hurt her feet. :-(

My children have worn vans for the last 12yrs I found over the last two years that they have gotten extremely narrow. My 8yr old has been struggling to wear them. At first it seemed like the Velcro was very short & hardly reached over to close. Now I cannot find any style that he can wear. I wish more styles came in a wide width. It used to always just be the slip on that were narrow.

Bought the shoe, size 11 seemed tight and Velcro didn't close. Returned for a size 11.5, still seem to barely fit my 4 year old and strap STILL does not close.
