I find these shearling lined shoes to be very comfortable and warm. Purchased them for wearing in SF on cool days and they are perfect. I had to go up to a size 7.5, even though my first pair of birdies are a 6.5. Needed to get the bigger size to have adequate room in the toe box. The heel is a little loose as a result, but if I tie the shoes tightly, the heels fit fine, and the shoes are very comfortable (with socks). One criticism I have is the inconsistent sizing between various styles of birdies.

I already own one pair of Cardinal and LOVE them. I love the idea of these for winter. However I ordered 1/2 size up as suggested. The length was great but unusually tight in toe box. For reference I am not a"wide" shoe size but like a roomier toe box. My original cardinals were just fine. So wish they had worked because they are super cute for winter!!

Great warm comfortable shoe. No socks needed!

These are the only shoes I want to wear and I will be wearing them until April! They are so comfortable and soft and warm! Even without socks, as slippers, on errands or out for dinner! I love them.
