These might be the most beautiful shoes I have ever seen.... if only they had a strap on the back I might then be able to walk in them. They are being returned sadly. There is no way to keep the most beautiful shoes in the world on my feet while walking. Please Birdies add a backstrap to this one!!!

Pretty shoes, beautiful rich color, comfortable and with decent support, however a bit wide, my feet kept sliding around in them and I do not have a narrow foot. It didn’t help that the bracelet was very loose, did not help them stay on my feet. With no way to adjust these for a better fit and the price, I could not justify keeping them so they were returned.

I have several feet" issues and find it very hard to find any shoe, let alone a dress shoe that is comfortable. I have bunions, high arches, and feet almost a half-size different. These shoes matched perfectly a dress I had for a wedding, but only had a 7 1/2 left. I normally wear an 8-8 1/2 due to bunions (9 in pointed toe shoes). Read the reviews when an 8 never became available and bought the 7 1/2. Almost perfect! The length was only a hair too short, not noticeable, which made the strap hit perfect. The Velvet gave to allow my wide toes to slide in comfortably, and with the satin insides, it felt like wearing slippers. I had no trouble keeping them on (they are not dancing shoes!) and seemed to get more comfortable after wearing them 5 hours. I've tried a couple of the Velvet slides now and get the 71/2 with jeweled strap, and the 8 in regular slide. In the closed Velvet shoes got the 8 1/2 in medium width, and an 8 in wide width (found on Birdie's website). Birdie's is now my go to for dress shoes. The medium width in suede and leather not comfortable, so will be trying the wide width.

These are the most gorgeous and comfortable shoes I've ever had! After an ankle injury I am unable to wear heels but needed a party shoe and the Swan is perfection! The wine color is a perfect shade and the sparkle from the gem strap makes the shoe so fun! Would highly recommend! Wore them to a few events but the true test is that I wore them all day Christmas while cooking and celebrating and never took them off!

My second pair from the Swan collection. I am still waiting for the black one to have it in my size. I normally wear a size 6 but decided to go with a 6.5 to have some room since its a pointed toe. The fit is perfect! Order a half size up.

This is my second pair of Birdies. I had been eyeing these and then I saw them styled 3 ways on the website - formal to jeans - and I was sold! My shoe size seems to change a bit with the designer so I can wear an 11, 11.5 (which I think is my true size), and 12. These are opened ended, so a little long, but not an issue. Beautiful details.the color, the gems. I love them!

These were part of my Christmas Present from my Wonderful Husband! After surprising me on our October Wedding Anniversary with The Emerald Swan Gem Bracelet & surviving my childlike yell of shock, he was brave enough to give me these!!! I thank goodness I was sitting down! By far Birdies are My FAVORITE & The Love of My Life knows he has got me every pair I own!

Every year, I volunteer for the Historic Homes Holiday Tour. This year, I received so many compliments on my Birdies that I ordered another pair for next year. The Wine color is gorgeous and I'll be enjoying them tonight for New Year's Eve. Live Birdies.

These swan shoes are gorgeous and comfortable, and I have received many compliments while wearing them. The sparkle bracelet adds so much to the shoes and the whole ensemble is very comfortable - the best of both: stylish and comfortable!

But I received a pair that has flaws with crushed velvet and dinged tip. Will try again!

Gorgeous but if you have wide feet they're not for you!

I love the way these shoes look, and they complimented my casual holiday outfit. They are hard to walk in. They kept slipping off of my feet. I tried adjusting the gem bracelet, but it wasn't much help.

They are really pretty but because of the materials they are more for lounging around the house, they slip offy feet and is hard to walk on. Also they run a bit small I'm a true 7 regular, these are more for a narrow type of feet.

These very comfy shoes, but my feet wouldn't stay in the shoes.

The shoes are beautiful and comfortable, but I can't wear them anywhere but in the house because they are slippery and slide off my feet with nearly each step. I thought these were actual shoes not house slippers so it was a big waste of money for me. I'm unimpressed. It would be nice if there was at least an optional strap on the back to secure the shoes on your feet.

I will try them . I tried the slides but think I will try loafer with not pointed toes would like to have a bit more arch support. I haven't tried the loafers but plan to later this spring. I think it's kind of hard to buy shoes online but once you get the right size I'm sure it's easier.
