The shirt is attractive to look at, but I didn't care for the material which seems to be somewhat stiff. The sleeves are a bit too wide also and flare out, although I appreciate their length. The shirt washed well. I hoped it would soften from a wash, but it didn't.

I bought the smallest size but it is very wide. It is a heavy fabric. I think I would like it if it didn't look like a box on me.

Cute color scheme but very big and boxy, and the fabric was a lot thicker than I expected. Not flattering on my body type.

Huge/oversized, bulky, heavy fabric, I am a petite size and perhaps this shirt would have a better look on a larger person

Sits way too far from body. Not an attractive look. Makes you look bigger than you'd want

I wanted to love this shirt. Unfortunately the fit was not for me. Very wide under the arms. Length was perfect. Fabric was substantial. It had to be returned.

Bring back the classic long or 3/4 sleeve, boat-necked plain stripe in classic French sailor colors like navy and white. Also looking to purchase the traditional striped long-sleeve turtlenecks you used to carry.

This year's french sailor shirt is dreadful. I have an older boatneck style shirt and it's much softer with a feminine cut. This one is cropped and extremely boxy with rough, heavy fabric. It looks ridiculous.

Totally unsatisfactory. Not properly sized and the fabric was too heavy.

Unfortunately I could not find any positive when I received this shirt. Nothing like the photo on line.
