Love this shirt. Great fabric. Thought maybe the big pocket might be a problem but its not.

I like the shorter style high/low hem of this shirt. It makes it easy to wear untucked and looks good. I sized up one size to get a slightly looser more comfortable fit without it looking sloppy. I also feel if I put this in the dryer, it is bound to shrink, so sizing up is probably wise. Shirt is a bit pricey, however, it has a cute LLBean logo stitched to bottom of hem and it is decent quality.

True to size. Very lightweight not quite as long as I expected but still a really nice shirt.

I didn't walk into LL Bean looking for a button-down- but I found one! The cut and weight of this shirt are spot-on- it's a nice mid-weight cotton with a bit of heft, and the cut is a little more boxy and a little more cropped than most of LL Bean's stuff- makes the cut very current and easy to style. My new favorite white button down. Please make in a solid blue! Or green stripes!

Quality is great. Not as fitted as I'd hoped. I feel a bit like I'm wearing a uniform for retail like Gap or Olive Garden. I'll use it under sweater vests or cardigans.

like the boxy shortened look. not exactly wrinkle free which surprised me. most shirts today come out of dryer wrinkle free. nice fit & style.

The shirt's description informs the fit is loose, so I understood it is not designed to be a close-fitting shirt. I ordered specifically based on your sizing chart. It was way too big, fit nothing like the L.L. Bean model on the product page. I reordered and sized down, and the new size fits well. I will be have to return the initial shirt because of fit. The shirt seems well made, and is very soft.

Pretty, comfortable cotton, Crazy long sleeves! I keep rolling. up sleeves. Perfect if you have long arms and a short torso. Keeping because it is so comfortable. The small might have fit too.

I ordered both the white and the maize stripe in this style in my usual size small. When I first took them out of the bag to peruse, I thought they looked huge and that I'd probably have to return them. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on. They fit almost perfectly. I would not have wanted a smaller size. I say "almost" because I wish that they had been available in petites. On me, 5' 2" tall, the shirt looks regular length, not cropped. Also, the sleeves are a little too long. Fortunately, I was able to solve the problem with the sleeve-length by turning up the cuffs and rebuttoning them so that they resemble French cuffs, only with buttons rather that cufflinks. For a more casual look, I could just roll them up a couple of times. Also, the description of the shirt is misleading. The two that I received do NOT have high-low hems, which I had expected. The fronts and the backs are the same length. Yes, the SIDES are cut higher, but that's just your typical men's dress shirt cut, not what I'd consider a high-low hem. Still, I like the crisp, fresh look of these shirts, and the cotton is exceptionally nice. The unobtrusive embroidered Signature logo at the bottom front is a sweet little added bonus.

This shirt has all the great qualities expected from LLB, but what is with the gigantic pocket? I wanted to love this shirt and keep it, but could not get past the kangaroo pocket on the chest. I sadly am returning the shirt but only for the styling.

Very soft, would have preferred it longer but it was on sale. Probably will wear it over a t shirt or pullover in the spring or fall.

Love the fabric but the sleeves are too long and the body a tad too short. Please make again with adaptations.

LL Bean oxfords are my go- to shirts. The fabric is soft. but the short front is weird especially with the exaggerated front pocket and the extra big dropped shoulders. Please bring back the "original" boyfriend oxford shirt

This shirt is made of quality fabric. However, it has a boxy fit which I found unattractive.

I tried this shirt because I've been looking for something with that old school thick oxford fabric. I was skeptical about the cropped boxy fit, which might have been okay if it weren't for the dropped shoulders - a feature I didn't notice until I tried it on. Between the cropped fit and the slouchy shoulders this shirt looked like a train wreck on me, but the fabric was absolutely fantastic, really soft and thick. Please use this fabric to make a regular button up style oxford!!

I am a dedicated LLBean customer. Over the years I have purchased many blouses from Bean. This blouse I bought several months ago. I have chosen to wear it 2-3 times! It washed poorly and the collar is small and looks so skimpy. I am so disappointed in its quality and appearance. It was expensive and of poor quality.

Not properly proportioned. I expected an oversized shirt, but the arm width was way too much.
