This is a very nicely made light weight denim-look shirt. The fit is consistent with all the other relaxed fit shirts I've purchased from LLBean. I like this shirt but it is not what I expected (a lighter weight, denim jean fabric.) It looks like denim material but is a Much lighter weight, 100% cotton fabric. It will be great in the heat. It washes and cleans up well but looks like it needs a good ironing when removed from the dryer. I may try hang drying and hand ironing the next time (since I don't iron).

Great shirt, nice soft denim just wish it had been a little lighter in color, closer to the pic in the catalog. I've already worn it once, very comfortable!

This would have been a five star shirt if LLBean had put one more button on it, The way it is the front needs another button to keep the area around the boobs from showing gaps (and whatever else is under it). The fabric is great, the fit is great, the number of buttons not so much. Trying to save a few cents per shirt really isn't a good idea.

Lightweight and comfortable but it runs big. Great for hot weather or cooler weather with a t-shirt. I like it.

I'm a sucker for denim shirts, so I bought this in both the dark and light shades. I like the fit, the cut, the pockets...everything but one little thing. The label. Why did you have to sew your label where it will be visible? I mean, obviously, you want to promote your brand, so I don't need to ask why. I do want to express my objection to it. It's a white label on a dark fabric -- even on the lighter wash denim -- so it's really obvious except when I'm standing still and the front placket is laying perfectly flat. It bothers me.

Love this shirt. However it never fails to come out a wrinkled mess from the dryer. I hate to iron!

I like this shirt but I don't love it. It's a little too light weight and doesn't have enough weight to resist wrinkles (at all) A little flimsy for the price

Shirt is nice quality but button placement isn't great causing gaps between buttons. Should add an extra button to eliminate this problem.

Overall I like this shirt. The fabric is lightweight and it's a nice color but like another reviewer, I noticed the buttonholes are spaced too far apart. I even compared it to other buttoned shirts that I own and the buttons on this shirt are about an inch farther apart than the others. It causes large gaps. Not sure how I will fix that.

Nice shirt overall but the buttons were placed too far apart and gap open even if the shirt isn't tight. I'm keeping the shirt but it will cost me to find a solution.

Wanted this shirt for wearing over a tank top this spring/summer. I'm 5'9" so it's a little short in length for me, but would be perfect for those of average height. It does run true to size in width, the underarm area may be a little snug but not uncomfortable. I bought the lighter denim color. Hope it washes well. I'll do a cold wash and hang to dry as not to lose any length.

I was hoping for a slightly slimmer fit. It felt too boxy for me.

There is a piece of white material below the collar that you can't notice unless you have the shirt unbuttoned (which is the way I like to wear it). I just think it makes it look cheap and can't understand the reason for it. Why can't it be all blue? The white stands out too much.

This classic lightweight denim shirt is indeed Relaxed Fit. It's so relaxed that it's borderline too big. I kept it and I wear it around the house. If you are on the smaller end of the size, it may be too big for you.

It's ok. it looks like a work shirt. Not very feminine but good cotton material. All right for gardening or feeding the chickens.

I found the material to be rather flimsy, the fit to be just a bit too snug and the length too short for me. I returned it.

Nice looking shirt & seems to fit fine but the buttons are too far apart or something & the shirt puckers open at the bust & is unacceptable. The shirt also has a strong almost creosote-like odor. I guess it is the dye. Instructions say to wash it before wear to prevent dye from transferring to skin & clothes but I haven't done this because I will return it.

Felt a bit skimpy - sleeves are tight. It was supposed to be a "generous" fit, but it really isn't for me. It need ironing because the fabric with the buttonholes get very wrinkled in the wash - but just this part, though it is a nuisance. It works, but it was a bit of a disappointment.

the price of this shirt is quite high, but 5 cents short of free shipping - REALLY? So you pay a lot of the shirt and still have to pay for shipping. I declined for this reason. Come on Bean; step it up!

This shirt was great in every way EXCEPT that it was too tight across the shoulders so that it was difficult to move my arms. Sadly, it had to be returned. I'm baffled since I own several other LL Bean shirts in the same size that fit perfectly.

Unfortunately, I sent this shirt back. The buttons are spaced too far apart and had a gap the first 2 buttons on the top.

Nobody wants a cropped denim shirt. Please LLBean - start offering more options for taller women (and I don't mean uniquely tall... I'm talking 5'8"+, women with longer torsos, and those of us who just don't like showing skin) - the shirts are all short - especially the summer breezy styles - they just leave too much open. I have a closet full of shirts that fall "just short" - I'd buy 5 colors of a product that went below my waistline.

I was looking forward to getting this short sleeved denim shirt. When it arrived I was very disappointed. The fabric wasn't a solid denim like a pair of jeans. It was streaky and flimsy. I purchased a long sleeve denim shirt from LL Bean last year and was very happy with it. Let the buyer beware.
