I wish this came in tall sizes. For me at 5'10", the sleeves were short and the waist cord too high. Too bad because the fabric and styling were lovely.

I just received this today. There is no lining, the color looks faded (i purchased deep olive) & the fabric is very thin. Sizing is tts, there is plenty of room to wear a heavy sweater underneath. I do like the adjustable waist string & the pockets, but IMO this is a shirt, not a jacket.

Too stiff and heavy for my taste. Wish I'd have sent it back. Loved the color and imagine others who like such "farmey" things would like it. However it is too heavy for warm weather and not warm for cool weather.

Looking for something warmer. This is like a bulky canvas shirt.

The sizing at LL Bean is not consistent and very frustrating and annoying

I bought this to wear for rose gardening, and I was so disappointed that they did not build it with room in the shoulders/back to move your arms while working. I thought LL Bean would build an actual work jacket, but the whole jacket lifts up when you raise your arms. I loved everything else about it including the fabric, but I returned it because it's clearly not designed for people to actually work in!

Not the fault of the jacket, but I thought it would be a different style. It looked very militaristic, and I was expecting more of a barn or utility jacket. for someone else might be perfect. By the way, the customer service at L.L. Bean was excellent.

Style of jacket is great. However, the jacket is heavy and with no lining, it's almost impossible to get it on since it catches and drags against anything you are wearing, except perhaps a silk blouse. Too bad, I really wanted the jacket.

I'd love to keep this but it weighs a ton. It'd be a pain to lug around.

This fits and wears more like a shirt. I really wanted to like it but didn't want to spend over $100 for a shirt.

It's nice, but it runs shorter wasted than pictured.

Cute styled jacket but just not flattering on my short frame and felt stiff. Not soft and comfortable.

I ordered my normal size, but this jacket runs small, especially across the upper chest and upper arms. Being a jacket, it should feel loose and comfortable. Order a size up.

Returned this as the armholes don't seem to be cut right, especially when you raise your arms. Otherwise it seems well made.

The main problem is incorrect pattern drafting: Low armhole depth, incorrect sleeve pitch, lack of symmetry in the sleeve cap, insufficient cap ease (depth/width) to accommodate the human biceps and shoulders. Pattern drafting 101: Accommodate the angles, depth, width, ease of accommodating arm/shoulder anatomy, and associated movement while wearing the garment.

Cute jacket but I couldn't wear it as the sleeves are too tight. I bought this in a 3x and it fits everywhere else but the sleeves. I had just a light long-sleeved shirt on and my arms were in a straightjacket. Maybe this would work with a sleeveless top but jackets should be large enough to cover what you are wearing. I am giving this away to a smaller-sized person. Very disappointed.

This coat is thin!!! Like duvet cover or 2 sheets sewn together thin. This might cost $25 if it weren't labeled LL Bean. The price doesn't match the quality. Not even remotely.

Have this in navy and green from past years. Liked the new light beige color but was disappointed that the hem is now shirttail - it's a jacket, not a shirt; they seem to want it to be both?? Weight good for everyday fall and winter but returning as I do not like the shirttail hem.

The waist was too high and fit was uncomfortable. So I returned it.

Cute jacket, however I thought the material was lightweight and not sturdy at all. My sister ordered same jacket (same style number) and hers was a heavier, denim like material. Not sure if there was a mix up of some sort, but I returned the jacket.

Very thin - really more of a shirt than a jacket. Not at all like whats shown in the catalogue. Also runs very small.

I bought this jacket in a petite XS and it was not true to size. Way too oversized. Product quality was also lacking.

I liked the look of this jacket in the magazine. I'm going on Africa safari and after consulting with a LL Bean representative I bought it in a medium. It was tight as skin so I exchanged for large which had huge shoulders and bunchy waist and sleeves that would not completely go over a sweater. Returned it with regret.

This jacket was very disappointing. Very boxy. Not flattering. And did not like the feel of the fabric.
