I loved the way that these looked out of the box. I ended up returning them due to the tongue of the shoe being very long and cutting into my upper ankle.

OUCH! The tongue on this shoe will slice you open. How did this pass the test at Veja?

The tongue on this shoe is sharp!!! It will cut your leg. Ouch!!! returning them for this reason.

I have another pair of Veja’s that are small - these run a half size big! If you’re in between sizes - read the reviews and size down!

I thought these would be a "fashion sneaker" but it looked more like a regular athletic tennis shoe. Also, I thought the logo was black, but it was blue. Not excited about this shoe. Purchased a pair make by Dolce Vita from Zappos and keeping those.

I wear an 8 and order the 39 as suggested. They felt really big even with socks. I usually size up half size because I have wide feet and these felt way too roomy. I am going to try a 38. These are good back. They are very cute so I hope the smaller size works.

I was so bummed these are so small and tight- both short and narrow.

I really want to love these shoes. They are really cute in person but they hurt my feet each and every time I wear them.

These run large. Like the style.

Shoes look great. Tongue is too long, cuts into ankle. And not all holes were punched, so impossible to lace.

So sad that these couldn't work. I tried them in 3 sizes, tried them with insoles, tried convincing myself that I could live with the pain... but it's a no go. As other reviewers have said these run very slightly larger than true to size but since they're only offered in whole sizes there's no flexibility to order a half-size down to mitigate any extra room if they don't fit just right. I found these stiff and narrow across the board, too short in a 39 and too long (painful toe crease, clown shoe feeling) in a 40. Too bad bc they're definitely cute as heck and the company seems cool but I'm going for something comfier and cheaper.

They were so cute and colors were on point, but they were too big. Based on reviews I was afraid the 37 would be too small. I’m a true 7.5. So sad. I’ll look at other Veja styles but I was really excited about these.

I read that these run large so ordered multiple sizes to try on - unfortunately I believe they actually run true to size which is a shame since Veja doesn't offer half sizes. I'm usually a 39.5 or an 8.5/9 with a moderately wide foot and in the 39 my toes were crammed against the end of the sneaker and the toe box felt narrow to the point of being painful within a few minutes of indoor wear. In the 40 I have ample width where I need it but definitely more than a thumb-width of room between the end of my big toe and the front of the sneaker. Unless I really tighten the laces the whole shoe feels loose and I worry about the toe breaking oddly from the extra length. They're very good looking and the larger size is actually quite comfortable so I'm going to hang on to them long enough to see if an insole or heel-riser will fix the fit but I have a sinking feeling that what I really need is just a size in between a 39 and a 40 :(

Unfortunately, my Veja’s did not workout for me. They don’t have much support and after several hours wearing them, they began to bother my feet. I’ve worn them 3 to 4 times, and noticed the stitching is coming apart at the bridge of the foot. I contacted customer, and they’ve issued a full refund. Great customer service just not crazy about the kicks!

I am a size 6 and ordered that the first time. I then ordered a size 5 and they are still enormous. Are these mens sizes?

I would NOT like to cancel this item, I didn’t think it went through but it did.

Half size too big

Eh, didn’t love. Not comfy and ran small.

Not comfortable at all and the tongue is so long it digs into the front of your ankle. The footbed has zero cushion. Totally disappointed in this brand. Returning.

I love the style of these shoes. The leather felt kind of stiff to me and i was worried that my bad foot (collapsd arach and calloused big toe would not do well with these sneakers. For me, the fit was just slightly large, but not a full half size. I am regretfully returning.

Very stiff material and feels cheap. Certainly not what I expected for a $150 pair of sneakers. I just can't justify the lack of comfort for the price, so will be returning. It's too bad because they're cute shoes.

I’m usually an 8 (39) had to return and get a 38. I own the same pair in white, which are way more comfortable. For some reason the black ones feel more stiff and the tongue is definitely stiff and digs into your skin. I’ve managed to move the tongue to the side until I break them in.

They are kind of stiff and narrow, and I have pretty skinny feet. They hurt. Not sure if they are worth the money. Wish I could return them but I already wore them once

The tongue is so stiff that I returned these shoes. They are so good looking, so disappointed they didn't work for me.

I wear a US 6 and the 37 felt big, especially in the heel. Had to send them back because the tongue was so long it uncomfortably hit the front of my leg.
