I am a US8.5 and wear a 39 in another Veja style. I love this in the matcha but the 39 was WAY too small. Toe bending small. I have reordered a 40 in white ??

The tongue rubs the front of your ankle pretty badly, hoping it will soften as they break in. I do wish Vera offered 1/2 sizes. The 39 was just too small and the 40 feels a bit too large.

Just too big.. wish they made them in 1/2 sizes!

The toe box felt a little wide and the tongue was stiff rubbed my ankle, to the point of a blister.

I was so excited to get a pair of tan nubuck velcro sneakers. But there were 2 issues. The first was that there is a very slight mismatch in the color of the shoes. The left one was slightly more grayish and the right one was slightly more yellowish. These were very slight differences but noticeable to me, and my husband could see it too. Maybe no one else would, but I would feel like I was wearing defective or less-than-perfect shoes. One thing I think contributed to the difference in tone was that the nubuck was shorter and less dense on the left toe allowing more of the leather to show. It seems like the thicker nubuck grabs and holds more dye. The second issue is only apparent when you put them on. Once I put my foot in the shoe the velcro doesn't go all the way across and so it leaves some of the bottom piece of white velcro exposed, which looks sort of silly on the tan shoes. And the makers used tan threads to sew on the velcro so the tan thread on the white velcro is exposed. They should have used tan velcro so that the shoes, the velcro and the stitching is all the same tone and doesn't look bad when you can't pull the velcro all the way across.

I ordered my true size and found the shoes were at least 1 size too large for me and the width was huge! I will be returning the shoes and will not try Velcro closures in the future.

Was very excited to receive these but when the velcro straps are closed they do not go all the way across the shoe and each strap ended in a different spot across the foot which looked like I had messily tried to wear someone else's shoes. Cute in pictures without feet in the shoes, but just not cute in reality.

I have a narrow foot and ordered a 6.5... the box came and the shoes were 7.5... the sizing is all over the place. The shoes were cute but had a weird fit and obivously they sent the wrong size. Dont think this shoe is good for people with narrow feet.

I really wanted to like this shoe and had been searching for it for a long time. The shoe itself is nice stylistically. The recommended eu size 8 was small-half to full size. The shoe is very hard with no cushioning or arch support. I am really disappointed to have to return it.

The “VEJA” in the back of the shoe immediately peeled off. Loved the fit and comfort, though!

I was so excited to receive these shoes... However, the incorrect size was sent to me.

Ordered these and the order went through. Got an email saying the order was “delayed” and called customer service who told me delayed means that I won’t receive the item. Just horrible service. Since when does delayed mean you won’t get the item?
