These shoes are stiff as a board! I’m looking for a soft leather shoe and I thought for the price they would be softer but they’re hard and stiff and narrow and Ouchi

It was your delivery that was a problem. You provided a date that you can't keep! UNSATISFACTORY!

I absolutely love these shoes. I have worn them every day since I bought them. They are easy to get on and I think they are super cute. They don't have a lot of arch support but I have custom orthotics and they are really good for those.

I have a narrow foot and ordered a 6.5... the box came and the shoes were 7.5... the sizing is all over the place. The shoes were cute but had a weird fit and obivously they sent the wrong size. Dont think this shoe is good for people with narrow feet.

I ordered my usual size 8 and found they were too big..slipping on the heel. I ordered a 7.5 (38.5) and I do feel they are a touch short when I walk, but I am going to keep them anyway. For reference, I am a comfortable 38 in Golden Goose and an 8 in Tretorn. These shoes are soo cute, so I’m making a tiny sacrifice.

The perfect shoes! The are truly comfortable, and stylish. Frankly, I was unsure how I would feel about the velcro straps, and it is now my favorite feature as it lends that clean look we all are striving for. These are perfect for walking around in the city, in town, an upcoming trip to Chicago, while navigating the airport, and more. They will be worn to ball games, nascar races, and a multitude of sporting events. Perfect with shorts, jeans, and dresses. In short, they are perfect. I have a long, slim, narrow fit with narrow heels and these were a great fit and did not make my size 9 feet look large – a win for white shoes!

I really wanted to like this shoe and had been searching for it for a long time. The shoe itself is nice stylistically. The recommended eu size 8 was small-half to full size. The shoe is very hard with no cushioning or arch support. I am really disappointed to have to return it.

These are amazing sneakers. I bought these as part of my capsule wardrobe as I am trying to consciously invest in pieces that are high quality and can be worn with anything. These Veja Recife sneakers did not disappoint. As soon as I put them on for the first time, I could tell I would be able to wear them all day, every day, regardless of the occasion or how long I'd be wearing them for. I bought the extra white/sabol, and I love the contrast of the sabol (nude/neutral/tan color) with the extra white leather on the shoe. I love that these shoes can we worn with jeans, skirts, dresses, leggings, or anything else, really. They are the perfect every day sneaker that you never need to worry about walking all day in. Although the Veja Recife sneakers are an investment with the price, the quality and the comfort make these a no-brainer and are absolutely worth-while.

Fit and size was a little generous but still fitting. They were to heavy on my feet, no arch support and they looked to clunky. The leather was nice.

Purchased a 6 and 6.5 as I run between and the 6 was roomy enough for a comfortable fit. Arch support is minimal and placed inserts (smart feet) for a better long distance walking shoe experience. Overall love the fresh under stated style and Velcro. Would def use w inserts.

The toe box felt a little wide and the tongue was stiff rubbed my ankle, to the point of a blister.

Love the retro velcro straps! Perfect to wear with my jogger outfits. I am an 8.5 and the size 39 works for me.

Look and feel really nice.

Really love these Veja Velcro sneakers. I find they ran a bit wider than usual (which I appreciate). I sized down from my typical EU sizing. Gold is so fun and they seem very well made. My only complaint is the Velcro on the right shoe seems a bit shorter and exposes since it cant fully extend to the end of the attachment. Maybe my right foot is slightly wider? But have seem similar issues on other reviews. But this wont deter me from a return. Great travel shoe or for casual work meetings.

They ran big in the heel. Toe box was fine. Had to return.

Great fit, quality materials. I normally wear a 10 in sneakers and ordered EU41/9.5US in these shoes.

I was so excited to get a pair of tan nubuck velcro sneakers. But there were 2 issues. The first was that there is a very slight mismatch in the color of the shoes. The left one was slightly more grayish and the right one was slightly more yellowish. These were very slight differences but noticeable to me, and my husband could see it too. Maybe no one else would, but I would feel like I was wearing defective or less-than-perfect shoes. One thing I think contributed to the difference in tone was that the nubuck was shorter and less dense on the left toe allowing more of the leather to show. It seems like the thicker nubuck grabs and holds more dye. The second issue is only apparent when you put them on. Once I put my foot in the shoe the velcro doesn't go all the way across and so it leaves some of the bottom piece of white velcro exposed, which looks sort of silly on the tan shoes. And the makers used tan threads to sew on the velcro so the tan thread on the white velcro is exposed. They should have used tan velcro so that the shoes, the velcro and the stitching is all the same tone and doesn't look bad when you can't pull the velcro all the way across.

I typically wear a 8.5 so ordered a 40 since that is what they say is an 8.5 in these shoes. (In my experience a 40 is closer to a 9.) They were too big. Am returning them. In the meantime I ordered a pair of Veja Recife in a 39 in the white/slate colorway and they fit great so am keeping those. Can't wait to start wearing them. The fit is good. I have wide feet and they are wide enough. The arch support is not fantastic, but I don't intend to walk for miles and miles in them so am anticipating that aspect will be ok. The leather and construction appear great.

Love this shoe! I usually wear a 6.5 in Nikes. Ordered a 6 and it fit perfectly. Love that the toe box is more forgiving than Air Force Ones. I didn’t have any issues with the tongue rubbing against my foot. Comfortable and light. Definitely recommend.

I ordered my true size and found the shoes were at least 1 size too large for me and the width was huge! I will be returning the shoes and will not try Velcro closures in the future.

The “VEJA” in the back of the shoe immediately peeled off. Loved the fit and comfort, though!

Size felt slightly big at first but with no show socks they were a dream walking all over the city. I've worn this with work dresses, going out and casually with jeans - most importantly, they are SUPER comfortable!
