If your contemplating on these or heavy weights. I would go with heavy weights. The heavyweights are warmer obviously. But they feel as if they would protect better from a light breeze. The medium weights, my fingers get cold in 35 degree weather and the wind cuts through them. They would be good for brisk morning on a late spring/fall camping or backpacking trip. The fit is great compared to other brands. I'd say OR does the best at this.

I really want to like these gloves. They are perfect for aerobic activities on mild winter days, and the sensor fingertips actually work on my smartphone. However, after having these gloves less than two months and only using them maybe 2-3 times, the stitching on both outer thumbs has blown out (actually at the same place, at the same time, on the same day) and it only took tugging on the glove's fingers while getting the glove off to cause the blowout. I've had other OR stuff last for decades, and these gloves didn't even make it a quarter of a year! Yes, they're being warrantied, but come on.

I'm not sure if this is a common thing on the OR Gloves in general. But I do not like that I can feel the stitching along the fingers and it's VERY OBVIOUS. That bothers me

I've used a number of OR gloves in the past. These are another example of OR quality and design going downhill over the last handful of years. The thumbs are ridiculously long. The touchscreen compatible feature does not work at all. Sorely disappointed.

After about two days of wear (15 minutes per day) the grip on the fingers began to flake off. The touchscreen-friendly coating on the thumb and index finger was first, then the rest of the coating went. It was really disappointing, as the gloves seemed nice. Outdoor Research customer service gave me a full refund and a coupon to use on a replacement order, which was greatly appreciated, but these gloves were still pretty bad.

The Vigor sensor gloves have been a staple liner glove for me. Unfortunately the glove has been "updated", with seams added near the bottom of the fingers. This makes them very uncomfortable, especially when gripping something like a ski pole. Guess I'll have to look around for another glove once my old Vigor liners wear out.

I only recently purchased these gloves and have used them for approaches and ski touring. Less than 10 days of use total and they are already tearing at the seams. Buy liner gloves from a different brand because these suffer from very poor workmanship.

I purchased these gloves and they began to fall apart on literally the first outing. Also, they don't work as screen touch gloves. So not only were they falling apart, I also had to take them off to use my phone.

Perfect glove for those high heart rate winter activities. It's super breathable but still blocks the wind. Not the most durable so works great for running or backcountry skiing but will wear quickly while fatbiking, etc. As many have said OR's new cut has unfortunately gotten skinny and long in the fingers, so size appropriately. If I could select feels too small and feels too large, I would but I have short and meaty hands so maybe it's just me that's disappointed in the gangly finger direction that OR has gone.
