Beautiful boot. Unfortunately the toe on this Teva Rowena Buckle is narrow and elongated (pointed to approach cowgirl boot look) so if I get a more comfortable half size up to fit my foot/arch I'll be tripping on the extra toe. I measure a 5.5 D and bought the 5.5 as recommended, although I usually get a size 6 because that's often my only choice when there is no Wide width. I have kind of narrow heel wide forefoot peasant feet. I guess I'll keep looking for a more rounded, almost square toe and a deeper toe box, or wider size, something.

Very happy with these boots! Fit is slightly bigger than other Teva boots I have had in same size, but not enough to down size even 1/2 a size for me. These were more comfortable than I expected even without adding insoles which I typically do. They are versatile and have really good tread. I live in a warm climate, but use these for traveling in colder/wetter climates. They were my main pair of footwear for 2 week trip to Ireland in Oct. Kept feet warm, dry and comfortable.

I usually wear wide widths, so I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these were. If I get another pair of boots from this company, I will definitely go up a half size to 9.5, because they were a little tight when worn with thicker socks.

These ran a little lager than my previoulsy purchased TEVAs. However if I wear heavy socks they fit fine and since I will most likely be wearing them in winter wearing heavy socks is not a problem. They were pretty comfortable right out of the box, if a little bit stiff. First time wearing them was in a very heavy rain and my feet stayed dry. I also have plantar faciitis and these gave me enough support. All in all, I am pretty happy with them.

Something about the strap across the front of the ankle made it a real struggle to get one of my feet into these boots and I couldn't get the second foot all the way in. (I have one ankle that's slightly larger than the other due to a past fracture.) Was very disappointed because I really liked the color and look of the boots. Considered going up a half size but was afraid my feet would slide around because of the extra room, so decided to return them.

I bought these to have something moderately stylish but weather proof for a winter vacation. They fit my foot ok, better with a thicker sock (fine for cold weather anyway). The upper part of the boot ain't the ankle is a little open/loose for my liking, and unless you are wearing a thicker high sock, will irritate your ankle or shin. Overall just ok.

I get the concept of trying to create new styles, but when you have something that works, like the De La Vina ankle boot and the Eller pull on boot, why would you stop offering what people really want in favor of these clunky, uncomfortable, lug boots that remind me of the old steel toe boots my dad used to wear on the construction site? I tried these boots and they are nowhere near as comfortable as the two I previously mentioned. The soles are not nearly as comfortable nor is the leather upper. It's very stiff and unforgiving. It feels like you're literally lugging cinderblocks on your feet. They push into your calf in the front of your shin very uncomfortably. It would take me over a year to break these boots in. I immediately sent them back.
I really wish you would bring back both the De La Vina ankle boot, and the Ellery Pull On Boots because these Rowena boots just don't cut it. And I'm not the only person out here who says this.

As the weather gets colder in the fall, I like footwear that is a little warmer on my ankles and sturdier than my shoes.
My current Teva boots replace worn Teva boots. They were very similar except for the sole. The sole is more rugged and heavier than my current pair. I was told that Teva was no longer making boots after this year.

I was looking for a cute, waterproof bootie to use for traveling in Europe. This pair is cute, but less comfortable (stiffer and less arch support) for walking on cobblestone streets than another pair I ordered.

Took a trip to Scotland and so happy with my choice. Comfy, waterproof, and kept me from slipping on rhe many cobblestones and steps! Plus they look great!

I liked the look of these with boot-cut jeans and the aggressive soles for October-April Mid-Atlantic weather keep feet just above most puddles. The 9.5B was comfortable and roomy enough for light weight socks. Toe box tall enough for me; some shoes are shallow in that area which can cause pain from pressure on large toes.

I ride a Harley, and sometimes you want a good safe boot that is really comfortable AND looks good. This is the boot! I can walk a distance without any issues. For me this is big because I have chronic pain and steel in my back. These boots are a buy!

I think these boots have it all. Great tread for winter. They are sturdy. The buckle and shape of toe gives them style...slightly feminine. I've had them for just a short while, so time will tell, but construction strongly suggests they will last for years.

I wasn't planning on buying these boots. I went into a store with a different boot in mind. Not only were these more comfortable, but other shoppers noticed them while I was trying them on an commented on how great they looked. They are so comfortable too. (I know, I mentoned this before!) I went up a half size to be able to wear warmer socks if needed, but I usually just wear footed tights. Be sure to get the boot cream.

Hello Zappos!
I have been meaning to write a review on these shoes for forever, cuz they are so dang cute and comfortable! In fact, I just ordered the dark brown pair, even though I don’t “need” them!
You know, I totally forgot about the brand Teva. I always thought they only made sandals! My first pair of Teva sandals I bought were in Hawaii in the ‘80s, and they lasted over 20 years with a lot of use. So when I saw they also made boots, I took a chance. Well, that “chance” turned into my all-time favorite boots (booties) to wear!
Here is why: They are easy to get on (love the zipper) and are extremely comfortable (I have bent toes, too!), and the quality is amazing. They don’t seem to scuff easily, look good all the time, and are very attractive with the buckle. I also like the half sizes, and the medium width is great, even with these toes of mine! I would highly recommend you try these Teva boots. Thank you, Zappos and Teva!
