I really like these shoes. I was looking for something that was everyday wear but would give support. I don't love wearing my hiking boots everyday. These fit the bill. They are super lightweight, look good, and feel good. Keens are the only shoes that don't let my hip drop while I walk.
The smell is pretty bad with these shoes out of the box. It took almost a week for them to air out fully.

I love these shoes! What a perfect fit. Great support while running, with my orthotics fitting in the shoes no problem. The color ember is a light red which is pretty, without being overpowering. They fit comfortably, and I did a 4 mile run first time out with no issues. They are light, and help me feel confident on my run without any danger of tripping or slipping.

Wanted these to work Love how Keens make my feet and ankles feel. Unfortunately, the outside edge cut into my ankle bone.

So cute I hated to return them but the leather strip cut into my ankles. Most shoes have padding around the ankle but not this oneW

This shoe is amazing. I live in a rural area and walk a series of gravel hills plus I have various foot issues. These make even my walk feel like I’m walking on a cloud.

These are great shoes. The removable insoles allow me to use orthopedics. Supportive

I wanted to love these. Look-wise they are perfect. Functionally, they have some issues.
I sized down half a size - a full size definitely would have been too much but this was fine. Even with this, my heel was slipping constantly.
I can definitely see how other reviews have an issue with the heel - it’s pretty high and the cut of it has it digging in with each step. I’m sure you could build up calluses, but even with taller socks I think it would be an uncomfortable start.
My main issue is that my feet overpronate and these not only offer no support, but honestly seem to make my rolling even worse. Even with inserts, they just don’t have the support I need.

My feet love these shoes! The heel is a little higher than I am used to, so I wear a little higher socks (normally I would wear the no-show socks, so I just bought regular ones). Would 100% recommend these for everyday use. But I dont recommend them in the snow. . they become pretty slippery.

I love these. They are truly the lightest shoe I have ever experienced. Size down; I needed a full size smaller than other brands. They somehow make my huge feet look smaller! I normally need wides but these are very roomy. Like other reviewers have noted, the heel was stiff at first and caused some rubbing initially, but they softened up after a few days and now are perfect. And the purple/orange color? GORGEOUS. I get compliments everywhere I go.

This walks like a tennis shoe but has the support I look for with Keen. Light, comfortable and honestly thought the color was crazy but I love it!

I really like these shoes - they are comfortable and roomy. However, they rub on my heel. I always wear short socks, so this may be a problem. Not sure if I can exchange them if I have worn them already.

So, this is my first pair of Keen, and what first caught my eye was, I admit, the incredibly cute & bright color of these shoes! However, they really blew me away with how comfortable they were!! Although I normally wear a 7 Wide, there was no wide option for these shoes, but the reviews said that Keen run wide. They were right! Theres plenty of room across the instep, and the shoes are light but offer plenty of support. Ive worn them on walks around the neighborhood & then put them through a test at an all-day Air Show! Success!!

Started wearing in April. Not waterproof by August. Ripping apart by September. I've never had a shoe rip apart like this shoe.

I really liked the color when it was first brought out. I still do. They are very comfortable.
However, I hated the shoe strings. I did not like the color or fabric. I happened to have a pair of shoe string from another pair of shoes that worked well with these shoes and their color.
Juno (sp?) was my sales person. I have a very hard time finding shoes that I like and are comfortable. I honestly think she would have brought out every shoe in inventory trying to find me a good fit. She is a gem. Hang on to her. Just when you think customer service is dead, there is someone like Juno!

Sizing is really weird and they hit your ankles and heels in a place that cuts into them. Since the shoe is a hard recycled material, they will chew you up. The sizing is too big and too small all at once. I wear size 8 Hokas, which are like boats in appearance but fit well. These things fit much bigger in width while also having the wide toe that is also a bit short all at once. So its possible you could push into the front. If for nothing else than your feet moving around too much in there and crashing about. That wasnt an issue for me since the length of the shoe was also too long. They were just all around gigantic for me with an 8, which is the sizing Keen suggested after I answered all the sizing questions. Its possible a 7.5 may fit but Im reluctant to try it. The color and overall look is cool but the rest is an unfortunate no. I wish I loved them.

I would give this product four and a half stars if I could. The fit is PERFECT in half a size smaller than what I wear in most other shoes. It did take me a couple days to break them in so that my heel wasn't slipping with every step, now that the back of the shoe has come give my heels are glued in there with each step. Super cool! I also think the "athletic" design makes these hiking shoes rather elegant for everyday wear. I've never said that before about a hiking shoe. The only thing that I'm bummed about is they are slightly too warm to wear on days over 85 degrees. I also have to commend the keen customer service, as I was able to return the larger size I ordered after wearing them around a week to try them out. Not many companies do that anymore, and it makes me feel like the company has my back when I shop through them.

The womens version of this shoe model is wider than the mens version equivalent sizing. I am usually a very wide 8.5-9 due to serious bunions. The 8.5 was very good length wide and just slightly tight width wise. I went up one size and the length is now slightly too wide but excellent width wise. Since the back heel has a silicone bump on the inner part of the shoe, it keeps my heel from sliding up and down. Ive not had a single blister and Ive worn them over 20 miles already on pavement, yet to try trails and test durability. Love the lightweight feel. Wish the laces were not round as the come loose and untied no matter how Ive tried knotting them.

These are awesome. I'm a daily bike commuter and was looking for an all-in-one shoe that I could run and bike in (ie, something with a hard outsole). I also wanted a wide toe box (I have bunions on both sides of my feet), something as lightweight as a running shoe, with an athletic look (not bulky like hiking shoes), and cool colors (rose/tangerine is fun). The Zionic hits all those requirements with flying colors.
Of course, no shoe is perfect. There isn't as much padding in this shoe as a typical running shoe, but for me, that has not impacted comfort and I would rather lose the padding for a more lightweight shoe. It is still super comfortable, I just biked 15 miles in them today and wore them for about 8 hours, no aches or blisters. It's also not as supportive, particularly around the ankle, as a typical hiking shoe. I wouldn't go hiking Half Dome in these. But, if you are looking for something you can wear to bike commute, gym, run on the track and hike on a moderate terrain trail, these are it.
I think it runs a bit wide compared to running shoes, but not wider than a typical Keen shoe. I am a size 7.5 but usually buy 8 in regular running shoes to accommodate my orthotics. I got the Zionic in 7.5 and it still accommodates my orthotic perfectly.
