I've owned many Columbia boots and shoes over the years I use them for work as well as casual wear. I love the warmth that Omniheat provides and have never worn another company's product for my winter wear since discovering it years ago. That said this is the very first time I've gotten a product that was so uncomfortable that I had to remove it and walk in my socks. I have gotten used to how limited the inner soles in their products can be and I usually just add some gel soles on top to make them comfortable. These boots on the other hand felt like walking on rocks they pretty much squished my toes and hurt the bottom of my feet. I had taken them to use for work and the first hour they were fine but after that I was in constant pain to the point that I had to remove them. I already got rid of the box as I have many of their shoes that have fit well so I didn't see the need to have the box for an exchange. I regret that move and even tried them another day with completely different insoles but pretty much had the same results. This was first time trying this style of boot and I shall not be trying it ever again total fail
