I am looking for a closed toe recover shoe that I can wear in public. These are not that shoe. While they would work for around the house, I would be embarrassed to wear them outside. Why must they be so BIG? And, why can't they be made in women's sizes for women's feet? An 8.5 would have fit better. Do better.

I have several different styles of Hokas. I love them all and try to rotate wear to just Hokas all the time. That said I bought the Restore TCs in black. They are a strange shoe for sure. They have a pretty dominate rocker bottom but that was not hard to adjust to. They were not as soft and comforting for my feet as the Ora Recovery slides and that influenced my decision to return them. But the biggest hindrance was the way they pinched my upper ankle. They are very tall and also high on the ankle. They also have something like an inner sleeve that cupped tightly. The size fit was fine. After wearing them around the house for 2 days I realized we would have to break up. I was able to return them free of charge and received my credit 2 days later. I just ordered a pair of the recovery mules so we'll see how they do.

The fit was strange with a wide, short toe box and very uncomfortable heel support that made the shoes feels smaller than they are. I have narrow heels, so perhaps this shoe is designed for wider heels that better fit into the heel support to then allow the foot to size properly into the shoe. My least favorite Hokas so far and will be returning.

I'm looking for a comfortable walking shoe with good arch support. I've never owned a pair of Hokas, and I wanted a slip-on shoe. I'm sad to say that these look like "Crocs" on steroids! They are huge, and not a very pretty shoe. I bought these for a trip to Europe, and I fear I'd stick out like a sore thumb with the too bright blue and clunky looking shoes-- though I'd say they are really comfortable.

I had high hopes for these Hokas. So many people seem to be raving about the brand. These shoes offer cushioning, but weren't enough to improve the pain in my feet. I don't find them to be any more/less comfortable than the other sneakers I have purchased. The price was competitive with other brands and I will wear them -- most likely while doing chores, running errands, etc. I wouldn't want to try wearing them on a long walk or anything. Plus, they are ugly. Big, clunky sneakers are still "in," but these have no style whatsoever. Not my favorite purchase.

The cushioning in this shoe is great. No complaints. And I love the khaki color. I just wish there were 1/2 sizes. I have this problem with Hokas in general. Size 7 slightly too small, so I kept the 8 and they're slightly big and I must wear thicker socks.

Very clunky. Felt and looked like a men's shoe, even though it was marked unisex.

I love Hoka shoes and thought I would try these for the warmer weather. I really wanted to like them. They looked OK. They were not very comfortable. The women's 5 was way too small and tight, the women's 6 was so much bigger, my heel came all the way out when I walked. Disappointed.

Returning - Although the style has some potential to be comforatable with adjustments, the base was stiff & hard = not good for feet with aches & pains.

I love HOKA shoes and have 8 pair. I was excited about purchasing their slip on, but the reality isn't great. It's not truly a slip on as you have to use your hand to get it fully on. Also it looks clunky ( ie big ) on my foot .

The shoe is difficult to get into because of the rubber feeling insole. The shoe caused me foot pain especially on the ball of my foot. Working in the hospital setting requires comfortable shoes, these were epic fail for me.

I waited a month for this shoe to not be sold-out. 90% of the time I wear a size 10 in women's. Other times I wear a 10.5. At first I ordered the women's size 10. They did not fit so I gave them to my mom (we are both big HOKA fans). My second order was a women's size 11. It was too big. I'm returning the shoe this time. I'm beyond upset. I really wish I could wear these. They're gorgeous

I had high hopes for these shoes. They were huge. I normally wear a size 8.5 and ordered a size 9. They were very clunky shoe, much like a clog. These went back. Way too ugly.

I have heard so much raving about this brand. It looked and felt like a clown shoe. Total waste of my time trying to decide which shoe and then having to waste time returning them. All because I took the initial Zappos click bait of 40% off. Every shoe I wanted did not qualify for the discount. Zappos, just list what brands or shoes qualify upfront. I spent almost 2hrs trying to get the discount and ended up buying these which were not on sale and I had to return them because of the fit even after reading all the reviews from purchases. Not a fan. Won't be back.

Bought these for my trip to Ireland. They were so uncomfortable I had to purchase a competitors walking shoe while there. First, the material is rough and scratchy. Even with full socks. The toe bed is very wide making maneuvering up and down stairs impossible. Last, my heel kept coming up and scraping against the rough material. So sad as it's past the return window. I guess I'll have to sell them. For long walks it's a hard no!

I bought these for walking around Disney. Horrible blisters and my feet were on fire halfway through my day. I had to buy flip flops to make it out of the park. The heel and arch support were great to the balls of my feet then there was like a drop off of no toe support. It was like my toes were dangling off where the cushion ended. The rubber around the shoe is hard and stiff. Not worth the money for me. I had to try the hype. I'll stick with my Kizik's.

Bought these in both a 7 and 8. I wear a 7.5 normally but wear 8 in my other Hokas for my orthotic inserts. Both sizes were too short in the toe and actually hurt my feet . Ugly shoes but didn’t care because they were for yard shoes with support. Nothing comfortable about this shoe. Not for me!

Fit and feel of this shoes was nothing what I expected. Too tight all around. Inner sole grips feet so you can't easily slip into them. The return/exchange process has been horrible. It's taking weeks to resolve.

I felt like I was wearing skis when I tried them on. I looked down and all I saw were feet the size of "clown shoes".

I wanted to love these...to wear instead of slippers around the house...but they have a very unusual fit! The insole is thick and rubbery giving your foot a good cushion, but, also making it difficult to put this shoe on with socks. Then once it is finally on, you will notice that the angle of the insole pushes your toes to the very end of the toe box (even though there is plenty of room in the shoe itself!) making it very uncomfortable! The way it shoves your foot to the front of the shoe is almost as though you are wearing high heals! Definitely, not a feeling I want when working around the house! Back they go!

The fit and size are just perfect, the material is fabulously soft and comforting my feet, the shoes are so comfortable and light that I feel shoeless in them; I love the navy blue color always. I am ready for a new pair like these:)

WOWZA - LOVE these shoes - and I actually think their chunkiness is cute. I think I'll buy a second pair - they are SO comfy.
