Trying to find something cushy and comfy to address significant foot pain from contact with hard surfaces. Perfect!!

I purchased this shoe for recovery. It truly is a recovery shoe. Even the foot dr's office was impressed and said they had not seen that particular style. They are extra wide, easy to get on, no laces, very little pressure on the top of the foot where the incision was made. At the time of purchase I needed a shoe that was somewhat wide and easy to get on and this was the shoe-- I had tried others but they were just too tight on the recovery area. Really like this shoe - wear at least once or twice a week even though I'm walking a lot better now. I tried 2 other Hoka recovery shoes and had to return them.

They fit so well with the wide toe box. Also they are very comfortable and I get compliments on them every time I wear them.

I have 18 pairs of Hokas and my two daughters have 4 between the two of them. I purchased these for my Assistant who's a single Mom and always on her feet at home. She said they fit perfectly, her feet feel fantastic after chasing around a 3 year old all weekend. Love these shoes I wish I could purchase HOKA for everyone, I think the world would be a nicer place

These are the most comfortable shoes. My only complaint is there aren't enough colors. I would buy more if there were.

Restore TC was a wonderful surprise. I feared the large sole would be clunky. It is a big soft cushion with an upper that stretches to fit whatever your foot is. I'm still adjusting to the slip-on idea. My socks bind on the rubber insole, but, I think I've got it figured out. I plan to purchase the black color. I don't know what I'd do without Hokas!!

This shoe was too wide for me and too big. Going the 1/2 size up was just not good for me. Being a recovery shoe, I am sure that is why it's roomy. It was a nice show, just did not work for me.

Virtually the only brand shoe I can wear are Hokas due to arthritis, plantar fasciitis and bunions. Huge dilemma, hip replacement and the inability to bend over to tie my shoes for weeks while recouping. Now that I can drive to my PT appointments by myself I was held back by not having a comfortable slip on shoe. This shoe solved the problem big time. Super comfortable, easy to slip on and off and arch support is superb! Thank you Hoka you saved the day!

I think it’s smaller than several 39s ( dansko, fitflop, earthies) I buy. 40s are too big I wanted to avoid that but small for a 39 in my judgement.

Had to work at sliding my foot forward and wiggle my heel in. Maybe a half size larger would be the right fit. I decided I would look for a slip on style.

I really, really wanted to love these as a cushier, longer lasting alternative to Sketchers Slide-ins. But they are basically a pair of crocs with fabric woven in. And the slide-in feature just does not work like Sketchers, as I had to use my index finger to finally slide in...which defeats the purpose. Hoka, please make a comfortable competitor for slide-ins. Make the foam not break down as easy as Sketchers does.

I was hoping these shoes would have the plush feel of my Clifton 9 sneakers. The fit is fine, but I would probably not wear them for extended periods time. They are quite heavy and rather stiff. Not sure what the description means by recovery.

I wear these as work shoes in construction very comfortable, very stable, I wear these on steep roofs and everywhere else including the snow these are way more shoe than they appear and the heal system is also comfortable. The only wish would be a little more arch support but near perfect!

I ordered a Nine and received an 8. A 9 would have given me the length I require.

The shoe needs a half size (8.5) The 8 is too short.

Unisex sizing doesn't work well for women's feet ... this shoe needs to be made for a woman's mold specifically.

I read so many reviews & I ordered accordingly. They are just a bit too short & I could never wear anything on my feet other than an Ondo. The worst of it is the extreme tightness of the top over the top of my foot - it's uncomfortably tight. I typically wear a 9 medium or a 9.5 narrow shoe & these are not a comfortable slip on. I thought they would break in with a bit of wear; but, that has just not happened.

For a recovery shoe it was one of the most uncomfortable Hoka ive ever put on. The elastic was way too tight. Too bad because i also think they might be the most stylish Hoka.

I've loved my last two pair of Recovery slip on shoes and was anticipating the same experience with the Restore model. Unfortunately I'm not as enamored with the Restores. While their listed features indicate they are barefoot friendly, that was not my experience. I did wear no show socks, however the shoes rubbed so much against my ankles that my ankles were rubbed raw and left bleeding. The Recovery shoes I've had included a soft edge that was much more comfortable, but these Restore shoes have a rough edge that is unforgiving. The soles were quite comfortable but I do hope the top edge (collar?) is redesigned for greater comfort in future models.

Unfortunately the fit was off for me. The comfort level would have been great, if they would have fit better. I have other Hokas for workout and they are great. These were not right for me.
