Loved the look and color way of these but should have listened to other reviews. The funky shape of the heel doesn't allow for any support and is so shallow my heel slips. Just a tiny amount but enough that it is irritating and not what I want in a hiking shoe. Love my speedgoat 4 and my original kaha mids but wish I went with another style when it came to these

I recently bought this shoe in dark blue. I thought the fit was good, but the shoe was a little odd looking for my taste. I struggle to find the right shoe as I have worn out knees and after testing this shoe in the house my knees hurt....does not make it a bad shoe, but maybe not right for me. In terms of looks the tongue is very wide and the sides cut a bit lower....not sure of the purpose of that. Also the sides of the heel are cut low...why would you want this in a hiking shoe?

Too wide and the color is much lighter than it appears on the website.

Was looking for something for every day wear. Also looking for something that might comply with my companies business casual dress code. But was hoping I could also wear it with khakis. Was a little too casual looking to wear with khakis. Overall, shoe is ok, but it's just not as comfortable as the Bondi 8 and Bondi SR. And it needs to be offered in a Wide.

I have had these shoes for 4 months. they are sturdy and prevent the typical toe-holes from forming because they have a rigid front part of the shoe. That being said, i have owned the TenNine Hike GTX. it has a similar build. i cannot recommend the kaha 2 low GTX. I picked this because of the color and strong build. They are not comfortable and pinch my feet on the right side. I read reviews that pointed to one of the shoes having a slightly off fit and this is true unfortunately. the right shoe feels like it is smaller than the left shoe. I reached out to HOKA customer service and worked with them to submit a warranty replacement which is good for 1 year after purchase. This is the response i received:
"The reported issue is attributed to general wear and tear. Prompt reporting of such issues is recommended to prevent further wear that may render the item ineligible for warranty coverage.
The reported issue is not a result of manufacturing defects caused during the production of the product. The limited 1 Year warranty does not cover any sizing or fitting issues. Additionally, please be informed that HOKA provides a comprehensive return/exchange policy that permits customers to evaluate and wear the product for a period of up to 60 days."
Next time, i will send back within the allotted timeframe if i have any issues. I tried to give these shoes a try, but in the end i waited too long.
disappointed in the shoes.

I agree with other reviewers - this shoe has a couple issues 1. Ankle height - I got my usual size (8W) and my ankle slipped continuously even with a thicker sock (bombas wool). These are the socks I hiked in. I tried ankle lock shoe lace ties and this doesn't help; it also puts a lot of restriction on my top of my foot which was really uncomfortable. There is NO way you could wear these and not get blisters if going on a hike with your ankle slipping with each step. 2) Sizing is way off. I have 4 other pairs of Hokas and always get size 8. As I said, seems this is too big due to the ankle construction of this shoe. The length felt fine. I will try a 7.5 W but I have low hopes this will resolve the issue. Disappointing as this is a good looking shoe with appealing construction like the nubuck leather, the gortex, vibram footbed. Hoka should be producing shoes that don't have these difficulties at this point. Losing my trust as a customer after this one

I own numerous Bondi's and love them! Wanted a hiking shoe with water repellency and chose Kaha.
Great navy color and combination of colors. Size 11 way too big. 10 1/2 too small. The cut of this style is way off and won't fit everyone.
Love the look, but going back 2nd time!

I wore a different brand of hiking boot (half the price) on one foot and the KAHA on the other. Holy cow. The boot was lightweight, very comfy, and snug in the right places. The hoka on the other hand was just off in every way. It was a heavy shoe, bulky, has a random heel strap?, was tight in the foot but loose in the heel so it would slide even when everything else was snug. Not sure how this design passed - it looks cool but doesn't fit well at all.
I just couldn't justify paying this much for a shoe when I could get a Teva hiking boot for half the cost and works so much better. Darn it! I wanted the Hokas to work!!

I wore these shoes and broke them in for six months before I went on a short part of a Camino hike in Spain. After two days of wearing these shoes, my feet were so badly blistered I could no longer walk. After the trip, I lost four toenails and have had several problems. I will never buy Hoka shoes again after this experience.

This is my fifth pair of Hoka and despite otherwise wearing a standard size 7 there was significant heel slip, which for a hiking, expensive shoe is not ideal. This was even when I used a heel lock tie.

i was so excited about these lovely colors. ordered my usual size 7, but too bad the heel slips and the front pinches the top of my ankle. impossible to wear :( please bring these neutral mauve and clay colors to other designs.

Too stupid not enough flex. Too much sole trip over it and kick heels while walking throws off stride. Unstable.. going over rocks or sticks too unstable no flex or give.

I love Hokas, I have a few pairs and when planning my Japan trip no question I wanted to get a waterproof pair. I chose this model and jr is just impossible to wear. Each shoe is so big, that felt I had too big bricks on each foot. I don't even see myself wearing these on a trail or mountain, I wouldn't feel stable enough.

This shoe simply slides off my heels. The shoe is too low. I feel like I'm wearing flip-flops. Returned.
