I ordered the same size as other Sorel boots I own, but these are too big. It is a hassle to return them and there is a charge for shipping so I'll keep them. Disappointed that there is not consistency with sizing.

Yes, these are attractive and look good on. They also keep your feet warm. The two main things I dislike are that they are clunkier and heavier than you'd expect; each time you put them on, you're reminded of this but thankfully once you've worn them for a bit, you stop focusing on this. The real issue is that they are fairly narrow. I've never needed wide shoes before, but these pinch and leave you slightly uncomfortable. If Sorel had a different return policy, I'd be returning these, but since I've worn them twice, I can not return and these will just not be worn much.

I was really excited about these boots & sized up since there were no 11.5's. I should have just tried the 11's but already wore the 12's on the streets because I was too excited & it's cold where I live. I just have to tie the laces tighter & mostly wear thick socks. A pro to getting a 12 - they are narrow & my feet are wide, so I have some more space. Also, I wear thick socks in the winter most days, so that helps. Lastly, they are easy to slide on & off when in a hurry due to the bigger size. I also feel like they'll eventually stretch some, but it'll take a long while. I went per the measurements listed, but still would have been nice to try a smaller size first. These are mot available in stores anywhere near me, & to exchange them is a return with a charge & then re-purchase the correct size which is now sold out. Deducted 1 star for the exchange policy & 1 star for them being too narrow. I would have deducted another star for no 1/2 sizes above 10, but it's a big brand name shoe & they don't always cater to everyone. I'm still keeping them & I hope I didn't waste your time too much reading this :)

not my favorite - a bit too narrow - even with going up a half size - ordered another pair of the snow angel which fits perfectly

Shoe has heavy weight. Bulky on the bottom of the footbed. Does not feel comfortable to walk in for my feet with the weight of the shoe. Style & colors of & on the shoes are to busy & random & coflicting.

Shoe is cut strangely and pinches both pinkey toes yet a little large in total length - I am a true 8 1/2. Wish they were cut and sized like the old Joan of Arc boots - simple round elongated toe.
