I already own two pair of sorel winter boots. I have always found that they run small by .5 to 1 full size. These however did not run small. After trying two sizes, both too large, I decided I did not care for the look of the boot in black.

I loved the look of this shoe. The width was excellent for my wide forefoot but the ankle fit was way too wide causing my foot to lift up with every step. I was sad to have to return the shoe because it was everything I was looking for, but there was no way I could walk in that shoe with the way the heel fit. I am somewhat hard to fit because I do have a wide forefoot, but I guess I have a narrow heel .I I Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

These are super comfortable. They are super warm which I love! I am usually a solid size 8, which is what I ordered. I thought they would be ok, so I kept them. After wearing them twice, I wish I would have exchanged for the 7.5, even with thicker socks they feel a tad too big. And with thick socks they are almost too hot.

I typically wear a 10 in Altra and Merrell shoes and boots, but the 10 in these is much too large for me - a full size, I think.

Oh my god I love these so much, I'm going to be so sad when it is too warm to wear them. They are AMAZINGLY comfortable and keep my feet wonderfully warm.

I love this boot! It is comfortable right out of the box. It will be a great winter go to.

I exchanged a 9 for an 8.5. The nine was large, felt bulky. 8.5 much better. Odd since the other pair of Sorel boots i have are a 9.

These shoes have a soft, fuzzy boucle-like lining which is great for rainy days. The arch support comforted my feet perfectly. I sized-down to an 8 because I didn’t want jto wear socks, while getting up at 4:00 am to walk my spaniel. He whispers at me, and pats my arm until I wake up. I’m in his thrall, ?. Rainy weather never touches my toes in these comfy shoes. Definitely recommend.

So warm!!

This Sorel chukka women's boot is not very stylish, but these are extremely comfortable. They are light-weight, have a fluffy short fleece lining, and have moderately good cushioning. They run a tad large. I usually wear 7.5 Wide or 8 Medium. The 7.5 Medium in this shoe fits me perfectly. I always add my own arch support -- not an entire insole, but a foam arch support, and occasionally my own foam heel cushioning. There is room in these shoes to add support without buying a larger size. These claim to be waterproof and insulated. The fleece inner lining might be the insulation -- very soft, and feels warm. I have not tested the waterproof qualities, but will update this review if I find any fault with the shoes. As I said, not stylish, just a plain suede chukka, but easily the most light-weigh shoe with adequate cushioning that I've ever worn. Comfy, comfy, comfy.

Light and comfortable

Loving these cute chukka boots! Most of my Sorel boots seem to run small, so I order up a size, add my own orthotics and wear some nice wool socks and they are perfect! I love that they don't really look like a snow boot...more like a sneaker in that they're not bulky or clunky. These have been my go-to shoes since I got them a couple of weeks ago. Very happy with this purchase!
