This is a decent shoe for outdoor running but it wears down extremely fast on the treadmill (it doesn't to be very durable in a consistently high-friction environment). Each time I ran on the treadmill (which was about only 3 times) at a 6:30 pace for about 20-30 minutes, there was noticeable degradation of the pads on the bottom exterior part of the shoe (for locational reference - the pads have a rubbery texture and are attached to the foam-support part of the shoe). Since then I have only used this shoe for outdoor road running and there has been no sign of the pads wearing out further (at the same rate of that on the treadmill). If I were to have kept using the treadmill at the pace and times that I was running with this shoe, it would not have lasted probably past 15-20 exercises without the pads completely wearing out. I generally consider Brooks running shoes to be a decent and high quality brand, but this shoe was definitely disappointing...

I'm actually a bit disappointed in this shoe. I purchased a pair of this same model and they were super comfortable the first time I put them on and but they were worn out after 4-months. The current pair has hurt my feet since I put them on and are already showing signs of wear.

Great shoe for a while! Unfortunately the shoe wore down pretty quickly and it loses a lot of its functionality. I love Brooks shoes; but I didn't do any running (just walking) and it lost a lot of its comfort within about two months. I'll give another shoe a try; but I'd avoid this one.

The shoe definitely looks stylish, so it scores high on appearance. However, the fit in the toe area is quite narrow, and there’s not much support up front. After just a short run, my big toe was sore. I usually wear ASICS or Mizunos and run regularly (3-4 times a week). I decided to try Brooks based on positive reviews, and while the base and sole offer solid support (which might be great for heel strikers), they’re not ideal if you tend to run on your toes or have a forward-leaning stance.
I'd also recommend:
ASICS or Mizunos

I don't care for these too much. I am not sure what it is about them but I do not like them at all. I could never run in them because I think they would loosen up real fast on me

I loved my first pair so I went back for a second. The second pair couldn't support the over pronation of my right foot so much so that my right heel would come off the sole of the shoe and the side wall began to break down with just around 100 miles. My left pinky toe would also slide off the sole. Ended up with right knee pain and left calf issues including shin splints. Not sure if the shoe was defective or if Brooks manufacturing is inconsistent. Very unhappy to be set back in my training by putting my trust in Brooks. These are the first brooks I got since they moved to the guild rail support system.

Order the GTS because u discontinued the ghost style ( WHY ??) that fit great. - order the same size as ghost, and the GTS is bigger in the toe- doesn't fit well - why is it different length for exact same size ?? Wasted money- wont buy again

Seems like a well-made show, and I could see it working for some, but it was much too hard of a sole for me. It does have arch support, which is what I was looking for. But the thought of running on something that firm just wasn't for me.
I'd also recommend:

I've been wearing Brooks Adrenalines since Highschool (15 years ago). This is the first model of Brooks Adrenalines that fit terribly. The toebox is tight with minimal support on the interior front of the shoes. I was really excited to get these, but now I'm bummed by their construction and fit.

My review is only for the current pair that I have (I have had 10+ pairs and they'd get 5 stars) Current pair is separating at the sole in one spot which is frustrating.

Started with the glycerin as they were they "new hot comfort" shoe. Wasn't enough cushion so I tried these. I like the glycerine better just because of the stealth fit. But I ended up with new balance rebel v4. So so so much more cushion than brooks!

Felt great for the first couple weeks of walking. Purchased on March 12, the sole is falling apart. I've only used this pair for my walking.

I got these shoes to wear to work at hospital, several coworkers wear brooks and like them, I thought they would be comfortable and supportive to be on feet throughout day, after wearing to work few times I notice ball of feet really start to hurt along with arch also hurting, never had this problem before so I guess these shoes are just to wear around home for short periods

After trying this shoe on, I immediately knew I had to return it. Too short in length, and too narrow in the toebox. Completely lacking in cushioning, especially in the forefoot. This made the big 12 mm drop feel even more exaggerated. This midsole is much too firm. Nothing about this shoe worked for me.

Shoes have no padding or cushion - a disappointing trend with Brooks Adrenaline. Reasonably true to typical Brooks sizing but not comfortable.

This shoe looked nice, seemed well made, and I'd keep it just to wear around, but I needed a running shoe. It was very stiff and kind of uncomfortable just standing in my living room. I can't imagine actually wearing it to run.

The Brooks 22 were some of the vest shoes I have ever bought. The 23's hurt my feet so bad I got rid of them. I would not recommend these, I would however recommend the GTS 22 shoes.

The color does not look like the adds. The orange on the logo looks okay, but the other color looks yellow. The blue sole is much lighter than the picture in the adds.

I have extremely flat feet and these shoes with the extra soft cushion causes my feet to roll over way to much. I have even put in expensive inserts to try to help with the pain but that is not working. I have bought 2 other pairs of an older version of this shoe in the last 6 months and they do feel better but the shoes eyelets on all of the shoes tend to rip out at the top of the shoe from the abrasion of the shoe laces when tying them. I feel that is a cheap product for a expensive shoe and as a engineer I don't understand why that has not been figured out and corrected. I have more to say but out of space

I ordered these on 9\19\23 I don't remember the day I started wearing them, but the soul is already coming off. Other than the soul they are super comfortable to wear once you break them in. I wear them for work. I do a lot of walking for work. I haven't contacted customer service yet but I will soon.

It's ok for cushioning, but it's NOT the shape of my foot. I've ordered ice skates in size 9.5 4E and they fit perfectly. So I ordered size 10 4E of your shoe. Too tight. I went to size 10.5 then to 11 and now I've gone to 11.5 4E so my toes aren't cramped - and have a full inch of empty sneaker sticking out in front of my big toe. It's kind of disappointing to run into the exact same problem with every single sneaker I try - and yet my ice skates fit!

honestly the padding in the toe area doesn't seem as good as the 22. I'm getting some numbness. Disappointed and wont be purchasing a second pair.

The adrenaline is supposed to be a stability shoe but for some reason the 21 and the 23 are both much too soft. The Adrenaline GTS 15 was a great shoe and so was the Revena 7.
