the arch did not hit in the right place for me

Looks quality made and very cute. I wanted to love these. Looking for waterproof but attractive boots for a trip to Ireland. These are WAY too narrow across the upper foot, at the base of the toes, rendering them VERY uncomfortable. Add another 1/2 inch there, and they’d be wonderful.

These are good looking boots, but unfortunately they fit too tight across my forefoot. I tried multiple sizes, but it didn’t correct the issue I felt. Sadly these will go back.

So disappointed! I have this same boot in a brown leather and it is supple and so comfortable and fits my foot. This version is much smaller - both in length and width. I could barely get my foot in it with a very thin sock.

This a lovely ankle boot but too narrow for wearing in cold/wet weather. I would not have been able to wear even a thin sock.

I would not consider these waterproof with leather/suede uppers.

The shoe material was stiff with no give, therefore comfort was restricted.

Wanted the shoes for travel. Would be too heavy/tiring for comfort during long walks.

What’s up Sorel?! This is the 2nd pair of shoes I’ve bought from you this past year where the leather is defective… like stretched & rippled. It’s hard to take a picture where it shows up but when I get a replacement, the leather is not the same so I know it is about poor quality of leather. I LOVE Sorel and I have A LOT, so I hate to leave a bad review, but you gotta do something about your leather quality. These are SUPER cute boots and feel true to size. I won’t stop buying Sorel, but I hope they improve consistent leather quality.

Very cute bootie. The inside of boot is not very comfy and where the boot hits on leg just is wrong. Too bad, I loved the way they looked.

The stitching on the Sorel label came apart after a month of wearing these boots. So now they don't look very sharp. Otherwise, they are lovely, but this is a disappointment.

I love the look of these boots. However, they run narrow and small in general. I have ordered a half size up to see if they will fit better. We shall see!!

This is a cute shoe and I liked the top stitching across the toe for interest and detail. However, the leather felt rubbery, maybe b/c it's made to be waterproof. I ordered a 6.5 and typically wear either a 6.5 or 7 and found these to be too tight, which is unusual for me. I have a thin foot and with even a thin sock these were really snug. I'd recommend go up 1/2 size if unsure. Also, I did like the overall look and the height of the shaft.

The length of the boot was good but for a little wider foot this boot was too snug on the sides

too small across the ball of my foot and the last did not feel correct - the arch support did not line up with my foot correctly. I chose the size I normally wear but in this boot it did not work. I really wanted the boot to work as I liked the style, color and especially the sole. Oh, well.

I originally ordered this in black/black, 1/2 size larger than I wear so I could wear thicker socks. Size 8.5 rather than 8. Disappointed in the fit, even with thick socks it was too big, heel slippage and not comfy at all. Also didn’t care for them in black tho most of my pants, leggings, etc are black. Black Friday there was a price decrease and I reordered them in 8.5 the same style in tabacco/black, they arrived today. Really like the look, very dark brown and black soles. Even brown, they are very neutral. Surprisingly the 8.5 fits fine, with less thick socks. Only issue I (may) have is there is little to no arch support. Will try them with an arch insole, fingers crossed that they’ll work. The leather is nice, a little stiff but I know they’ll soften up with wear and love the look. I’ve tried several other brands of this similar Chelsea style, I like that they’re loose around the ankle. Heading to Switzerland next week so being waterproof is perfect! Thanks Zappos,

These are lovely boots & I wish I could justify keeping them. However, they are just a bit tight in places that make them painful to wear.

I expected more comfort. Sorel always seems to be inconsistent with sizing.

Stitching on the foot rubbed against the side of my foot, so had to return.

I wanted to love these boots but after trying both an 8 and 8 1/2 I just couldn’t make them work for me. The larger size slipped on my ankle and the smaller size put so much pressure on my foot top that it was painful. I struggled to get both pairs on. Now , having said that, I loved the look of them, I ordered the sueded green. I own numerous pairs of Sorels and truly enjoy the brand. These just didn’t work for my feet.

These feel 1/2 size too short and they are very difficult to slide into without cause sock issue. They squeaked when walking which I am not sure would go away. I have other lug sole shoes and they do not squeak. Sorel was my go to however the last 2 years there quality and design are disappointing, style is still there but tried 3 different styles and they didn't have arch support, sizing was off and they were not comfortable. So disappointed.
