These ran big for me. I had tried them on in person so I knew to order a 7 instead of my usual 7.5. They fit fine. However, they were much heavier than I thought they'd be. My legs felt tired after walking around my apartment for a few minutes. They also made a squeaking sound on my wood floors. Since I bought these for indoor use, these were issues that made them unworkable for me and they have to go back.
They are comfortable, and cozy, but too heavy. A shame. Something I noticed on the pair I tried on and thought it was just that pair, the fur showing across the top of the shoe is uneven. More shows on one foot than the other. I suppose it's not tragic but it bothered me and appears to be more than just one pair. Basically they look cute, I like the style but they're not functional for my use. I wish I could keep them but will look for something more lightweight. If you want them for outdoors, they may work better.

The fit was fine. The look was great. After wearing them in the house as slippers for a couple of days, my right foot was painful. I discovered that the fuzzy lining in the footbed had wadded up and was causing a blister on my toes. I tried to pull the lining smooth, but it would not stick. That and the fact that, unlike several earlier pairs of similar Merrells, there was absolutely no arch support. I returned them and will hesitate before I buy more Merrells. Too bad. For years they have been my go-to shoe.

Eight years ago I purchased a pair to wear as indoor house shoes--my podiatrist said 'Get something with good arch support/nothing flat.' These were great; feet never hurt. This new model looks nice, but the inside is so hard and flat that eventually (after a month, to give it a chance) I had to insert arch supports. Since I've been wearing them every day I will keep them, though these are the last.

The quality of the lining has gone down and the round M stamp is gone. The soles no longe last forever....and the sizing is slightly irregular in some of them. I am only referring to encore ice my favorite.

I've worn these shoes for years and years. They are my go to winter shoe. I have them in many colors. However through the years the quality has declined greatly. They are not nearly as sturdy as they were. Also the sizing is off many times. Disappointing

I had two other earlier editions of this show and loved them. This one not so muchthe fit is far less comfy-flatter, less supportive, less cushioned, and far less fluffy. It fits big and my foot rattles around uncomfortably and slides.

The shoe is cute. The fit is great. BUT, they don't have any support at all. After what I spent on the shoes, I'm not happy that I now have to order supportive insoles so I can actually wear them.

Way too big. The design did not fit my foot. I have a pair from a few years ago and this pair does not have comfort or same fit. The material used has not weight to it. Very disappointed

These are just ok. Nothing special. I felt they were 1/2 size larger than my usual 7.5. But I don’t remember if they were half sizes or not! I sent them back, I wasn’t enthused and they were just sloppy.

I found them too heavy and clunky. But they were also too wide, and fell off my heels.
I have a painful bunion and thought they would be comfortable, and they were, but for walking and everyday wear they would fall off my feet, and they were hot. Our weather in Alabama doesn't stay cold long enough to warrant them. I always wear the regular fabric black Encore shoe as a religion. Love them. They "break in" easily around my difficult to please feet. I will reorder them. Hoping they too will go on sale. (Also hope to see red, brown, and burgundy, not baby blue.

I love these shoes, warm comfortable. But I've notice that one shoe is getting lighter than the other. I notice that the left shoe is lighter and right still original dark brown. Looking into if I can somehow make the fading shoe dark again.

A full size too large, no real support. Purchased to replace 5 y.o.pair. Will wear as house slippers, not outdoors, too floppy. Must have switched factory to save money. No quality control. Order full size down.

I have a 19 year old pair of the exact same Merrill shoe that is alot more comfortable than these new ones I bought. Very disappointed in them. Wont buy another pair

I have been wearing your Encore Ice for so many years and I bought 2 pair last year. I was so disappointed in them. Although they are comfortable they are not anywhere as supportive as my older ones. They are very wide and they don't hug my feet so they flip around in them. Please go back to your older model which were a much higher quality shoe.
