I would have kept these boots but the top of the boot is too tight and inflexible around my calf. My legs are thin/normal size. Many other people complained about this same issue, so beware. They are also very squeaky on smooth surfaces. Otherwise, these are cute and have great tread.

These checked a lot of boxes for me and I wanted to love them--the stable, supportive sole felt great on my plantar-plagued left foot. But the deal breaker was that the very top of the shafts dug into my shins with each step. That little fleece-trimmed band is so stiff, it was even hard to press the gas pedal when driving. I wish they made them with the more padded-looking top of the men's style (which is only available in wide width).

I have a high arch, so I could not get my foot into this boot. Very good looking, so too bad.

Never wore them. Tried them on and they hit me uncomfortably in the calves. Returning.

Oh how I wish these would have worked!!! I love the look, color, warmth, great grip on sole, and waterproof feature of this boot, beautiful. I have many pairs of Merrell boots and shoes, but this one was very uncomfortable for my high instep, high arch. The pain it caused to the top of my feet & the front of my right shin, from the lack of flexibility for the high instep was excruciating. After just trying them out for an hour in the house, I have had foot pain for a week. The style is wonderful and could go with many styles of clothing. I think they would have been the perfect boot if the instep would have been different. If you do not have a high arch, these might be a great boot, it just would not work for me, unfortunately! I definitely think they would be worth trying to see if they work because they have so many nice features!

These fit great. I was worried about other reviews that said it was tight in the calf, but even though I have pretty sturdy legs not so for me. These look great! And are extremely sure-footed in Winter conditions. My favorite winter boots ever.

Pros: definitely waterproof, super warm and comfortable, great arch support, great traction, easy on-off Cons: Not the most stylish boot haha but it's perfect for slipping on to take the dog out on cold rainy days

I should have ordered a half size larger, even though I already had from my usual size. Will just adapt to thin socks. Excellent arch support and very warm.

Zipper was hard to manage, and the top of boot hit my calf in an uncomfortable way.

The boots are very nice, but unfortunately for me, too heavy. Otherwise, I would have needed some inserts, but I would have probably kept them.

I like this boot well enough to keep it. I needed something I could wear with a dress. However it fits rather loose, so I will have to wear heavy socks. The innersole is not removable which is a drawback for me. Most good quality shoes and boots have removable inner sole nowadays to allow using orthotics. I feel the boot is overpriced too. But isn't everything lately?

This boot literally digs into the front of your leg when you walk. I am returning it. I had a bruise on each leg where these boots dug in as I walked.

I can't even get the boot on! I'd say sizing runs small
