Fit: This shoe is much smaller than the Moab line. I've owned a half dozen pairs of Moabs, both low cut and mid. My size has always been 11.5 normal. I bought that same size for the Coldpack 3 Thermo and had to return them. They are at least a half size smaller and may even be a full size smaller. Also, anyone who normally orders normal width should consider ordering wide. I hope to order them again if a 12 wide becomes available. Not sure if I should order a 12.5 wide.
Quality: The product was actually impressive. I think the claim of being waterproof comes from the upper materials themselves and not from having any sort of waterproofing membrane. The leather seems good quality and the rands are much higher than on the Moabs. Unlike the Moabs, there are no meshes for ventilation or any ventilation holes. The Vibram soles seem to be made from a harder compound. The soles also have anti-slip patches glued to them in places. The patches have a scratchy feel that is similar to the silica tread compound on Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires.
Downsides: Like the Moabs, these boots have the uppers glued to the soles without any stitching. Every Moab I've bought over the years fails because the glue deteriorates with age, allowing the uppers to separate from the soles. It doesn't seem to matter whether the boots get beaten up or are lightly used, the glue comes with an expiration date. These are awfully expensive boots for an all-glue construction. I also question how well the anti-slip patches will adhere to the soles over time.

Size is true so if you wear thick socks get 1/2 size larger. Ive been hiking with these in Slovakia, they are warm and comfortable. I have had these for 2 months

The boots are very sturdy and comfortable. The soles give good traction for winter walking. I wear a womens 12 and got a mens 10.5. The boots fit well with a pair of Smartwool cushioned socks. I havent been in extremes cold with the boots, but they have been comfortably warm in temperatures in the teens.

Shoes are working well in keeping my feet warm so far in milder winter weather. This is my second pair of boots with the Coldpack grip system and they work great on slippery surfaces. I have wide feet and the extra room in the toe box makes these boots super comfy.

I got these boots as a Christmas gift for my husband. He is over the moon about these! When he put them on he said I cant believe the tongue is even padded. These are so comfortable! The next day, we took the dog for a walk and he wore the boots. He couldnt stop going off about how much he loves these! I cant believe how comfortable these boots are, and Ive never heard of this brand!
Highly recommend these :)

The fit and the materials of this boot are really great. They would be comfortable except for the fact that the ankles are exposed and the cold and snow get in. They are way too low. They're not really boots in fact, more like shoes. It's impossible to hold pants around them, they always slip off on the back because there is so little wiggle room. You I have to always wear them with good gators that go low on the back, and ironically they don't have gater hooks. I wouldn't have but these shoes but i had to get higher boots replaced and there weren't any other wide models available.

They advertise that this boot will keep you warm from the cold weather outside.
First time buying these boots with 2 g. And they still do not keep you warm. I will not recommend this book for the winter at all. I bore Colombian boots which are better than these boots.

Only get them if you have skinny feet. These are my 6th pair of Merrell shoes, and I've never had a problem, always a fantastic experience. However, these shoes are excruciatingly painful because they're so narrow. I actually have growth on the sides of my feet because of these shoes. They weren't exactly cheap, and now I have to find something else. I just hope my feet go back to normal.
