The comfort of a slipper but truly wearable outdoors. I've worn these around town and walking in colder weather. Fit seems true to size, easy on and off.

Working Boeing's flightline finds me inside and outside the facility, and it gets cold this time of year. But my feet are nice warm and comfy, and protected from the elements.

My intentions for these shoes were SlippersI had foot surgery a couple years ago & need supporting slippers. My feet like them so much I've begun wearing them everywhere! No socks needed either. Such fun!!

I wanted something I could wear from the house to the classroom during the winter season. These are going to fit the bill unless it is snowing more than 4 inches or so. Like others noted, the area around the ankle is snug, but I assume that it to help keep moisture out. Perhaps a bit more snug than I prefer, but that is right out of the box. I am guessing they will loosen up a tad as they break in. Even if they don't they are comfortable right out of the box, and I rarely say that about a shoe and never about a boot. The footbed is sturdy and it is just the right level of warmth for getting to the car and making it through recess duty without roasting me in the classroom. We get to wear jeans daily so that works, but wouldn't think they would work for anything more than casual attire. Glad I purchased them.

This is a comfortable shoe that you can dress down for walking or dress up a little for a nice casual outfit.

These are very warm and comfortable when I want the feel of athletic shoes, but warmth and good grip in wintery weather

Comfort. This is my third pair of this style shoe. I bought a 1/2 size larger and put sheep skin inserts in all three. Just love these shoes. With back problems and not being able to tie shoes, I just slip my foot in and I'm stylish and on my way!

I was hesitant to buy these based on many reviews on several sites. These fit like a glove! I love them. I did put an arch support in them like I do every pair of my shoes... because I have high arches. They are super comfy and perfect for running errands in.. They are not bulky and are nice for driving. So far I have only worn them for a very rainy day and they were toasty and stayed dry. As for ice and snow.. don't know yet.. but they were great on wet leaves. I would love to have a pair in every color. :)

Love them they have roomy merrell toe box. Lots of support Wore them everyday when too cold , wet or not for sandals. Only complaint is they need a loop by heal because tricky to get on. Rather frustrating for otherwise perfect shoes. I use a shoe horn to solve problem Wish their other shoes fit like this.

I received these 2 days before I left for two weeks in England. After wearing them for an entire day, I packed them in my suitcase. I wore them everyday for two weeks and my feet were comfortable, warm and dry. They are awesome! In the country fields and then in Londons streets, they were amazing.

I like these shoes a lot. They're comfortable and keep your feet warm and look cute. My only complaint is that they are difficult to get on. The back heel just doesn't bend. I had to buy a shoe horn to be able to wear them.

I have a medium width foot with a narrow ankle, standard arch and need a good toe box. This shoe fits pretty well and I don't have too much issue getting them on. The arch support is good and the heel doesn't slip. They keep my feet warm in 30 degree temps and they are slightly water resistant. I thought I had found my perfect slip on where I could walk miles without issue. Initially, this was the case, but it seems that the shoe has stretched out in the width, so my foot doesn't feel as stable if walking long distances. Not good! Thus, the removal of a star from my review. They might be fine for meandering around town when I won't be walking miles, but if not, into the giveaway pile they will go! If they had a bungee toggle to tighten, that would solve the issue.

Took these as my camp shoes on Kilimanjaro and I loved them! Very warm and super comfy with good support. A little snug and hard to slide on and off but I don't really mind that.

Love these slip on boots! Comfortable from day one! This is my 2nd pair of boots from Merrell. Love them both.

I am very happy with my Merrill Thermo Mocs. While I was a bit concerned about sizing and warmth, I wouldn't have needed to be. They run true to size and have kept my feet warm, with thermal socks, during our recent teens and twenties temps. My previous snow sneakers were from Bean and while they were good, they just were never as comfortable as these Merrills.

I love these. They are sturdy and the curve in the shoe makes it perfect for walking around the city in poor weather. I have notoriously cold feet and they keep me warm in 30degrees easily (probably could go lower but it hasn't been cold enough yet). my only complaint is that the fluffy lining has rubbed off at the top of the ankle on one of the shoes after a few wears, but it's a non-important spot so it's not too big of an issue.

Instep too high!! I purchased this gift for someone who is my same shoe size. She could not get them on because of this. We wear the same shoe size and I could not even begin to fit my foot into the shoe. Can I return these please?
