I used this sneaker for the gym and let me tell you it is an absolute game changer

I just ordered these after being a Brooks and ASICS loyalist. Bit some knee and heel pain are forcing me to look at other brands. I do pronate and would always need an insert to help my disappearing arch. This is the first shoe that stabilizes my foot without an arch and gives me the cushion I need. To clarify, I'm not a runner, but I do jog on my 3x weekly 5ks. So I am definitely a routine, fast walker/jogger. That being said, after reading the reviews I ordered in my normal exercise shoe of 8.5 and my daily shoe size of 8. I will see which I will keep and which I will return. At the moment, my daily shoe size seems to give me plenty of toe box space, but I haven't taken them for a walk yet.

First thing out of the box was the colors, I love them! I was worried they might not fit because I ordered the Medium but they slipped right on. The toe box feels roomier, that's where I need space. The feel upon standing is plush but supported. I ordered Aetrex interest for neuroma and plantar fasciitis. I didn't plan on wearing these until they come in but I am. They feel that good! On some background, before I stated wearing Hokas, I was at the doctor constantly with foot, knee and hip pain. Hokas, 6 weeks of rehab and meloxicam have fixed my problems. Hoka was the game changer. Thank you to your design team for these gorgeous shoes!

On my feet all day and shoes have helped with lower back pain.

I stand on my feet for hours at times so I need comfortable shoes to endure shift work. I would recommend this pair of shoes if you can relate.

I'm convinced these have little engines built into them because running is so much easier. My knees and shins aren't bothering me, I'm so happy I bought them!

I have had many back issues and the combination of support and cushioning in the gaviota 5 seem custom made. I can now walk 2 or 3 miles with no ache

I use these shoes for work and I'm on my feet all day. These shoes are great and my feet don't hurt after a long day.

I love this shoe for the cushioning and the support. I love being able to take the Hoka test to determine the best pair for me, and these Gaviota 5 shoes are wonderful! My main suggestion for Hoka is to work on extra fabric in the heel area since that is one area where I see wear and tear earlier than I would like. I will still continue buying Hokas, and I recommend them to everyone!

I have posterior tibial tendonitis and other foot issues from time to time. I can easily add my Pro Step inserts into these shoes for added arch support.

Look no further. Hola re-designed this shoe and this is the best iteration that ever existed. The toe box is finally wide enough and it is a joy to run in them. I am a teacher and spend a ton of time on my feet so I am ordering an extra pair for day to day wear in addition to the ones I wear only for runs. Thanks Hoka for the re-design, these shoes have genuinely improved my quality of life.

I love the cushioning and wide toe box. Very comfortable! Was a little disappointed in the color. The sea mist is more light blue than light gray.

Best shoes ever, I am a nurse so I am on my feet all day. These are the best shoes ever. This is my 3rd pair now

I started with the Bondi 5, which was a very comfortable shoe, but newer versions were much too narrow for me in the toe box. I actually needed to buy a size 8 wide to be comfortable and then they were too long to be stable. Super Runners measured and had me try the Gaviotta. I tnow have 3 pair in 61/2 wide, which fit perfectly. This is the only show with a roomy, wide toe box. The cushion is plush but still offers a great ground feel, and the stability frame is a plus. Please don't upgrade these into something less comfy. It's perfect.

I purchased these shoes as a gift for my granddaughter. She loves them. The quality is very good and they are very lightweight. I would recommend to others if you want a shoe that will hold up good and feel good

At first I wasn't sure I was going to like them, with the addition arch support I was nervous. Once I broke them in which probably only took about 2-3 days, they are some of the most comfortable shoes, I walk around a lot during the day with school and work and haven't had an issue. If you have flat feet like these then they will be great for you.

I have 2 other pairs that I've worn out. These shoes offer great support, have terrific balance and I wear them daily even just around the house.
