True wide width has returned in Hoka Gaviota 5! It is a wide width that will accommodate inserts or metatarsal pads for the wider women’s foot and has stability construction. My podiatrist recommended this brand ten years ago and the Gaviota 2 worked perfectly for my wide feet and inserts. Then manufacturing left the US and the next year the shoe was 3/4 inch narrower so I could no longer wear them. I compared this Gaviota 5 to the Gaviota 2 and the Gaviota 5 is 1/8 inch wider. There is plenty of shoe lace to tighten the shoe for a great fit. I am thrilled and am purchasing another pair. Thank you Hoka.

I have a lot of trouble finding sneakers that fit well. This shoe's wider toe bed is the perfect answer for me. There is a ton of support as I supinate, yet it's a light sneaker, meshed. I bought them in two colors!

These shoes are incredibly comfortable for doing my day-to-day life. I'm not really an athlete, but need good supportive shoes for work and just life activities. These dill that role beautifully! Not only that the colors are very cute!

I wouldn't say I have a wide foot but I have to be careful not to develop bunions as my foot shape is prone to it. These shoes have a roomy toe box and were instantly comfortable the moment I put them on. I bought the blue pair and get a lot of compliments. I'm looking for a second pair.

On my feet for 8 hours a day cooking and delivering food to customers. I can definitely say these are extremely comfortable. No more sre back and knees. Hopefully they will not discontinue the giovata 5 this is the third pair I have purchased and I love them!

LOVE my new HOKAs!!! The fit is fabulous, perfect for my feet for walking and standing on my feet all day. I appreciate the cush, the colors and the lightweightness of this product. These were a gift to me from my sister, the second pair she bought for me and I love them so much!

I just purchased my second pair of these. I've never worn a more comfortable, supportive shoe in my life. I'm in my 30's and have always struggled with footwear due to high arches. I end up compensating without realizing it and have dealt with achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and even knee and hip pain as a result. But in these, I can walk as long and as far as I please with not even a twinge of discomfort. They're pricey, but the ability to consistently move without pain is more than worth it.

I believe I got these shoes in 1/2 size bigger as I have had foot problems and need them a little bigger where the toes are. I am walking on treadmill at a good pace over 3 miles and did notice I will need to put my own orthodics in which is fine.

Lovely wide toe box in my normal size 9. Room for my orthotics without making the shoe too tight. I wore these all over Europe while on vacation. Great ride from toe to heel. Supportive strenght to controll my overpronation. Great colors and style too. Oh and I saw sooo many people at the airport wearing the Koka brand! These are my new favorite shoes! Thanks Hoka for a great shoe!

I've tried a few HOKAs (and even Brooks) for my high arches, and none of them worked. Now that I have tried Gaviota 5s, I won't be buying any others! These are great!

This sneakers gives my ankle the support it needs. I am able to walk 3-5 miles a day. I have had an ankle injury that has given me several metal plates and screws to put my ankle back together. I need a sneaker with good ankle support.n
