I have had tendon transfer surgery to correct a "drop foot" which was as a result of a complicated hip replacement. I also have permanent nerve damage in the same leg and foot. I have to wear custom made shoe insoles, until I found these shoes. I am so excited that I have found shoes I can wear straight out of the box! I don't pronate, they don't bother my foot and they provide ankle support! I love these and will be purchasing other colors!

I bought these for work. I'm an ups driver and am on my feet all day. They are very very comfy and keep my feet dry in the rain.

Comfort would be a ten if they didn't run narrow. I bought the 7.5 women's and they were too big, had to return them for a 7. And they are comfortable but narrow. But I can't waste anymore time I need them for work .

I have the Kaha2 and I love them! They are so comfortable! I found that there is a rating you can look up that tells you the amount of cushion for each shoe. This shoe is moderate. The Kaha2 is plush. If you don't need a lot of cushion these could be your option. It's not Jonas fault that I chose incorrectly.

This is a day one review. I'm definitely not an expert hiker, but I like to get out there and I don't like coming home with wet and muddy feet. I bought these today (shout-out to the excellent staff at Sam's Outdoor Outfitters in Hadley, MA who helped with sizing) and took them out for a quick two mile jaunt. They were comfortable right out of the box and I appreciate the fact that they're lightweight and sturdy at the same time. I trudged through mud with no slipping. I splashed through pretty deep puddles and watched with glee as the water rolled right off that Gore-Tex. I clambered up rotten logs to peek down at a mossy ravine. I walked down a rocky path to spy on basking turtles with no ankle rolling. The entire time I was out there, I didn't worry about my feet once. I felt secure and confident. I can't wait to get back out again. (Also, I came across some mushrooms that matched my boots almost exactly, and that's pretty cool.)

I love Hokas in general. As a lifelong hiker and skier I feel that that the comfort and cushion have saved my knees and joints. My only wish is that they didn't wear out as fast as they do. The fit is perfect and never a blister or breakin period needed.

If you're a 20-something with no foot issues, then I'm sure you'll love this shoe. I am a bit older & require a bit more out of a shoe which is why I LOVE HOKA! Saved me a fortune in podiatrist bills. However, I found this shoe cumbersome, uncomfortable, with a smaller toe-box and they were not quite a half size too small. I returned them. No hassle. So 3 stars for quality & ease. These shoes would last quite some time for the right person.

Bought these for hiking in Iceland and as I'm breaking them in around the house I'm impressed. They're lightweight and comfortable. I don't think I'll have any issues wearing them for long periods of time.

These shoes are so comfortable for long walks. They are my shoes of choice for outdoor activities, particularly activities that would normally set off my knee. I also appreciate having dry feet when it unexpectedly rains.

I had to exchange them for a half size smaller than my usual size. The color is pretty, but quite a bit lighter than the online picture shows. All in all, they feel great.

I have a seriously hard time finding shoes I can walk in. Especially for distance trails. Well, FOUND IT! Comfortable and supportive. My feet aren't tired or in pain after I do a 5 mile walk.

I have been wearing this boot for two months during a Maine winter, walking in snow and on ice. My surgeon told me to only wear Hoka shoes after I broke my ankle in two places. This boot keeps my bad ankle comfy and has kept me dry except once when I walked through a really deep puddle. If you are like me and need extra cushioning, or you just want to feel good when you walk, these are awesome, for hiking or walking on a slippery sidewalk. Because it looks more like a tennis shoe and comes in nice colors it is more versatile too and I can wear it out to lunch.

I bought these a couple of weeks ago after perusing the internet for a good winter trail running shoe. I normally take a size 8 shoe but always get an 8.5 in hiking boots because I always wear thick socks. I tried the 8.5 on which fit ok with 2 layers of socks but I could tell they would constrict the toes. I tried on the 9 and they were perfect in the toe area but definitely roomy every where else. They had ties all the way down the shoe so I tightened them as good as I could and that seemed to work well with not too much play. I used them for the first time running in a wildlife area - temps were in the 20's. They worked great. Feet were warm and super comfortable. We then got about 7 inches of snow and I went out snowshoeing with these boots . It was 20 degrees and very windy. I realized too late that I forgot to put the second layer of socks on. Snowshoeing is a bit of a workout on its own but I also did a little running in them. My feet were actually getting hot. I am 5'2.5" and weigh 120 and am 75 years old with knees that are now beginning to show their age. My knees feel great after these two episodes. I can't say enough positive about these boots. They are awesome!

I love these hiking boots. They are great for trails and just walking around the town. They were comfortable from the first time I put them on. I didn't need to break them in. They are waterproof at least in the rain/snow slush that I have worn them in. They were true to size too.
