I have had tendon transfer surgery to correct a "drop foot" which was as a result of a complicated hip replacement. I also have permanent nerve damage in the same leg and foot. I have to wear custom made shoe insoles, until I found these shoes. I am so excited that I have found shoes I can wear straight out of the box! I don't pronate, they don't bother my foot and they provide ankle support! I love these and will be purchasing other colors!

I bought these for work. I'm an ups driver and am on my feet all day. They are very very comfy and keep my feet dry in the rain.

Comfort would be a ten if they didn't run narrow. I bought the 7.5 women's and they were too big, had to return them for a 7. And they are comfortable but narrow. But I can't waste anymore time I need them for work .

I have the Kaha2 and I love them! They are so comfortable! I found that there is a rating you can look up that tells you the amount of cushion for each shoe. This shoe is moderate. The Kaha2 is plush. If you don't need a lot of cushion these could be your option. It's not Jonas fault that I chose incorrectly.

This is a day one review. I'm definitely not an expert hiker, but I like to get out there and I don't like coming home with wet and muddy feet. I bought these today (shout-out to the excellent staff at Sam's Outdoor Outfitters in Hadley, MA who helped with sizing) and took them out for a quick two mile jaunt. They were comfortable right out of the box and I appreciate the fact that they're lightweight and sturdy at the same time. I trudged through mud with no slipping. I splashed through pretty deep puddles and watched with glee as the water rolled right off that Gore-Tex. I clambered up rotten logs to peek down at a mossy ravine. I walked down a rocky path to spy on basking turtles with no ankle rolling. The entire time I was out there, I didn't worry about my feet once. I felt secure and confident. I can't wait to get back out again. (Also, I came across some mushrooms that matched my boots almost exactly, and that's pretty cool.)

At 70, I need the support of these shoes. They give me safety and comfort and stability. And, they are purple

Purchased these for my wife. She loves them. Only problem is now I have to go hiking with her more than I'd like to!

I love Hokas in general. As a lifelong hiker and skier I feel that that the comfort and cushion have saved my knees and joints. My only wish is that they didn't wear out as fast as they do. The fit is perfect and never a blister or breakin period needed.

If you're a 20-something with no foot issues, then I'm sure you'll love this shoe.
I am a bit older & require a bit more out of a shoe which is why I LOVE HOKA! Saved me a fortune in podiatrist bills.
However, I found this shoe cumbersome, uncomfortable, with a smaller toe-box and they were not quite a half size too small.
I returned them. No hassle. So 3 stars for quality & ease.
These shoes would last quite some time for the right person.

This product is amazing. This is my third pair of hiking boots. I have had such a relief in my feet as a diabetic. Great product certainly will keep buying.

I have had HOKA running shoes before (that I LOVED) so it is no surprise that these are also great. They are really cute and really comfortable, with seemingly great grip. I ordered both these and a pair of hiking boots to compare. Ultimately, I decided to keep the boots because I think I will need the extra ankle support for my hike (Huayna Picchu.. iykyk), but if I could keep both pairs, I would. Never took these on the trails, but if I am ever in the market for hiking shoes again, this is where I am turning!

This shoe was purchased because it was recommended for hiking for someone who has severe arthritis in the big toe. So far comfortable to put on, wear, hike and pull off

I ordered these hiking boots because I needed a waterproof boot with more cushioning at the ball of my foot. I ordered the boots on the 27th and they arrived on the 30th. Timing couldn't have been better, because on the 31st we had a foot of snow, so I was able to put these to the test. They passed with FLYING COLORS!!! They are the most comfortable and supportive boots I've ever had! There is enough give that you can wear a thin sock or thick ski socks and still feel comfortable. I've been out in the snow numerous times a the last 3 days and my feet have stayed dry and happy!!! HIGHLY recommend them.

I have had severe metatarsal pain (pad of foot) and these shoes feel so good! They are not squishy soft but have support just where it's needed. Firm feel with a slight padding heel area. I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 8. I ordered the 8 and they are a tad long but still feel solid. My heal does not slip out. But I have a LOT of room for my toes. I have a slightly slim foot. Anacapa 2 is my favorite new shoe.

Although I rarely use GTX version (Scottsdale, AZ! no rains and too hot), I can't get enough of Breese ( non-GTX version). I use these boots every weekend for extended trail and off-trail running with come climbing, which is a combination of rock, desert hard pack, decomposed granite, and occasional sandy washes. Light weight, good cushion, good traction, good grip, and superb lateral stability on rocks or cross-slope. There is one problem that I would say all trail running footwear are sharing: no protection from smaller cacti and their clusters on the trail. The entire small toe area and both sides just above soles are vulnerable to tiny needles piercing through the fabric. Also, I could not find Narrow models. Most of shoes and boots are for the feet with squared toes, and it is not working well for narrow pointy feet where all impact is concentrated on big toe, especially downhill. Tried to tie the laces as much as possible but it does not help in the toes area which is quite wide.
Last thing: Paaleease- no speed lacing. I ditched salomon a while ago because of that speed lacing. Speed laces do not work. They loosen up entirely every 10 minutes, and do not tie well. Opting in to military style lacing would be a better option- it has been proven to work for the longest times and in toughest conditions.
Lastly: when Anacapa Breese High or Medium will be back in stock?

My job requires long walks and constant stepping in and out of trucks, which used to leave my feet sore by the end of the day. These shoes completely changed the game. My feet no longer hurt, and it honestly feels like I'm walking on a cushion. Very comfortable and supportive for long workdays

These shoes are perfect when my actual "snowshoes" are too much. I can walk on streets with confidence. I would for sure buy them again.
