So happy to have a good looking running shoe that fits my wide foot. Great cushioning too.

I generally Really Love ASICS For comfort and Great Support. I have back and knee issues, but Am on my feet/ active/ physical ! These just Did Not Work- Not Supportive, Nor Comfortable. Felt cumbersome/ awkward to wear unfortunately.

I usually buy both the Kayano and the GT 2000 for fitness walking. The Kayanos have changed so much since the introduction of the 30’s that I have had to abandon them. The GT 2000’s have been consistent and I expected the 12’s to follow. I like the 12’s but I’m not in love with them. First of all the sizing is way off. I had to send back a pair in my normal size and go down a half size and even these run long and wide compared to earlier iterations of the shoes. Because of that, I’m thinking of trying a pair that’s a full size smaller than usual. The fit is a bit too sloppy. The uppers sag in the arch and the toe box. I got my usual medium but overall the shoes are on the wide side. They’re very cushioned however, and the new extra wide outsoles make them very stable. But I don’t feel quite secure in them since I pronate a lot and they’re not snug enough. I got them in the matcha green and while I’d normally go for something muted they’re rad and I’m hoping to find a size that fits.

A decade ago I probably would have avoided these based on the price tag alone. However, I was also able to try a size 12B on I a local store. I purchased the model "GT-2000 12" in a local store 3 days ago. They only look clunky. My priorities are my feet not sliding in them during body pump class, being able to maneuver without dragging my feet on the treadmill or road and having the necessary cushion, stability and support to walk in them pain free. They've passed the test with those requirements. The structural integrity issue others are unhappy with will be assessed over time.

Very comfortable and a little more room across the toes than the nimbus I usually purchase. My only complaint would be my heal sets a little deep in the shoe.

I have been purchasing the GT-2000 shoes for a couple of years now on the recommendation from a doctor due to my heel spurs, plantar fasciitis and overpronation. But version 12 has changed. I can't stand nor walk for longer than 3 hours in these shoes without them hurting my whole foot. I don't know what Asics did but I wish they would go back. I'm afraid to spend another $140 on V13 if it's going to be the same thing. I guess I'm back lto ooking for a shoe that is comfortable so I can stand for long periods of time and walk.

I went back on forth on these shoes and finally decided that I prefer the GT 2000 - 11 (Asics,, please bring back that style). The GT 2000-12 is bulkier and is slightly wider than the 11's and as result the shoe is bulkier. I also don't like the wide heel wedge which creates extra pressure on the outside of the heel.

I have no idea if the arch support was good because of all the shoes I ordered, I couldn't even get my foot into these and I only wear Asics for years now. The tongue was a flimsy thin foam.

I've never not liked a pair of Asics, but this style runs unusually large and there no arch support--it feels like almost a full size larger. My feet swim in them.

These feel shorter in the toe and bulker than the GT 2000-11 even in my usual size. It is also a heavier shoe wider and more flimsy than than the GT 2000-11. The tongue has no padding and is too thin. The heel is very thick.

I am returning them because I could not even get my orthotics inside the shoe to even try them on. What's happened with Asics shoes that aren't made the way they used to be made.

The tongue is not padded, but made out of a thin plastic...They felt too snug, and the style and color are very unattractive....

Asics are my go-to shoes for walking and running. They are ultra cushy for my high arch - a perfect shoe in my opinion.

The fit was great. It gives my feet enough room and on a long run it holds up well. The material is breathable and my feet don’t get sweaty.

I've been running in Asics GTs for decades. This new model is better than ever. I just ran about 5.5 miles in my new pair right out of the box, and they were supremely comfortable every step and provided the usual stability. My last shoes were a different, lesser Asics model, simply because the store I was in when I replaced my shoes didn't carry the GT models. I won't make that mistake again: the other model was not nearly as comfortable and felt less protective--I had trouble with numb or tingling soles after a few miles, once I had been wearing them for a few months. Not that this matters much, but the dark blue ones I just got are also very attractive!

I have worn Asics shoes in the past and have had good success wearing them on outside walks and in the gym. They have good arch support, a good size toe box, good cushioning, and are lightweight. I am happy with my selection. I sized up to woman’s 7.5.
I'd also recommend:
Saucony, On

SO FUN! The colors are just as snazzy in person. The only problem(?) is because the green is so light, it shows dirt quickly/easily. Very comfy too.

I am a long-term ASICS fan. This time I decided to go to the GT-2000 as opposed to the Kayano. I also went with a wider width. I am thrilled with the change. This shoe is every bit as comfy as the Kayano and less expensive. The wider width was a good choice as well. I recommend this for those of you with high arches.

I have worn Brooks but wanted to try these on a recommendation. I have narrow feet and these do run a little narrow. Prefer the arch support and cushion in Brooks Glycerin. I sized up a size from normal shoes and length was about right. Given size 12, I did not care for the color combinations that were available in my size. Returned, but will definitely keep them on the radar for future purchases.
I'd also recommend:
Hoka Arahi, Brooks Glycerin
