I needed a new pair just for the gym, something simple no frills and this is pretty close to that. I have a pretty normal arch so I personally found them to be "too supportive" on the outer sides of my feet. Maybe these would be ideal for flat feet. They do the job though and they are pretty roomy in the toe area which I love. Would I be able to walk in them all day? Probably not. Run true to size.

My last 3 pairs of ASICS have been 8.5 Gel Nimbus. I was advised by phone that 8.5 would be my size in the Gel-Excite 10 also. That size was HUGE! I reordered a size 8 that seems to fit fine. I love the bright green color, which I chose to make me more visible on my bike.

Nice fit with a good feel for the ground which I prefer to the overly cushioned newer styles. The only reason I took off a star was the arch is not high enough for me. This could be a personal preference though.

Very supportive sneaker. Lots of cushion. This pair feels a tad more snug than last pair. They were a different color so not sure if that had something to do with it. I think they will stream h a bit with wear.

...Love these shoes - springy, wide box so my toes are not squeezed. Only complaint is about the laces - too long and they untie too easily - would love this shoe to loose the laces altogether.

These are true to size. I usually order wide but these I didnt and they fit perfectly. I use for power walking & they offer nice cushion and bounce to keep your rhythm. My only complaint is the laces could be better quality as they are very thin. Asics should know That a good supportive lace does make a difference in support.

These were not for me. I prefer a more firmer sole but these were very stiff. Ill stick to my GT-1000s and Gel Cumulus.

Out of all the tennis shoes Ive purchased both pair of my ASICS are the most comfortable. All day on my feet and no pain

I was gifted a different pair for my birthday. I liked them so much i decided to get an all black pair for work. Love them. Super comfy. They don't look like orthopedic shoes. Very happy with my choice.

Decent mid shoe. I prefer the Kayano but wanted a cheaper walking shoe.

they fit well. The color was not what I expected, but I will wear them with certain colors of clothes, mostly summer styles.

I love these shoes. I have a slightly wide footbed (but not enough to need wide shoes), and ASICS are always my go-to athletic shoe. These are so comfortable.

Very comfortable and light weight. Can wear all day at work.

Initially felt good. Wore inside the house for a week. Cut the tag off the one shoe so I could walk normally. Found that the shoe was too long. Heal and toes too loose. Went to look at return instructions and saw cannot return because I cut off the tag.

Awesome shoe, very comfortable and light weight. I am a walker and this is a perfect shoe for walking.

Theyre nice but I find that my foot slides in them within the shoe. Ive tried different socks but the same. I may change the insert

i have always liked ASICS, this sneaker for the price paid, does not seem impressive

It is great to be able to buy shoes on line when they are exactly the fit as the GEL-EXCITE 10 that I bought 6 months ago. Thank you for the consistent fit. Nothing like a new pair of fitness shoes.

I purchased the Gel Excite 10 running shoes to walk in even though they were classified as running shoes. They that were uncomfortable to walk in because the heel of the shoe caused it to rock when I walked. I returned them without any problem and bought a different kind of ASICS shoe. I have been an ASICS customer for over 20 years and feel their shoes are the best.

I purchased these sneakers for my granddaughter for Christmas and she has informed me that these are the best running shoes she has ever owned. I'm very pleased that she is so happy with them.

Overall great shoe but considering I will be using my inserts due to the irritation it causes on my heel

I was excited to get over surgery and out of a boot after arthritis related bone repair in my foot. I went to a local store to begin trying on the variety of walking shoes. The 3rd pair was an Ortholite line. Heaven! I immediately asked for other colors. Since then Ive ordered from the website. I found I needed to change to a different pair each day (weird, but made a difference to my pain level when walking)but every pair is the same style shoe! I only wish they came in more colors.
