Excellent fit and quality construction. The shoes were comfortable from the first time I put them on and stayed comfortable after the first 3-mile walk. I've worn them several times since receiving them for Christmas, and my feet and back feel as good at the end of the walk as they did at the beginning. Great shoe for light/moderate walking/hiking or just casual wear.

Still haven't received shoes. Tracking just says in transit. Asics said they don't believe they are lost so be patient. 5 weeks of nothing.

These shoes are great, even when not trail running. I like the wide base which supports my knees landing in alignment. I find this shoe just soft enough AND firm enough for great comfort. I insert my Good Feet arches underneath the padding.

I love my Gel ExciteTrail 2. I purchased them at a very economical price. Great shoe for a great economical price.

Most comfortable shoe Ive worn in a long time. Wear them for regular/daily walking, not trails. Fits perfectly.

I bought these at DSW for $85 and they are worth it! Very good price for how good quality they are. Im 19 and a LPN working at a doctors office so I am constantly walking all day. I have a very high arch and at risk for plantar fasciitis (my mom has it BADD) so taking care of my feet is crucial for me. Definitely buy! Feels like walking on clouds.

Superb trail sneaker! Exactly what I need it for. I have gels and so Im used to the softer cushion but with the traction this offers.

I purchased a pair for my husband and a pair for myself and we were both pleased with the fit, comfort and performance. These are our new favorite ASICS.

Very comfortable. But I walk somewhere with a lot of hills and I find that my foot slides and really gets to the edge of the shoe. Not sure the front will be sturdy enough to really last.

I ran on the treadmill for about five minutes and almost tripped over my feet several times. They are comfortable until you try to walk and then its like youre going downhill. The soles on these are just too thick, theyre like platforms. Just didnt work for me. Returns were easy and I found something I liked.

I was looking for a comfortable cushioned sole. This sneaker was decent. I havent worn them Over a long period of time. They move a bit. I like snug fit however its decent enough for comfort.

The most comfortable shoes I've worn in a while. They literally put a "pep in my step" because of the bounce within them.

Super cute shoe. However, had several blisters within 1.5hrs.

Was not expecting these to be as light as they are for the cushion they offer. Seriously considering making them my daily trainer even for more road based runs, but definitely will be investing in another pair as my ultra training ramps up.

It looks awesome and it most likely works well for cross country.

These sneakers are so comfortable and feel like they are molded to my feet. I will definitely be buying more asics sneakers.

Bought this for my wife Trail walking. She loves these shoes. They are very comfortable and they motivate her to go on walk for more frequently

The whole shoe runs on the larger side. I dont run on trails. I teach in a classroom. They are decently comfortable. The two star rating is for the construction/quality of the shoe. I wore these shoes to the first day of teachers meetings and the back tab (sewing) came undone causing it to come off my shoe.

I recently bought these shoes and I like them. Everything seemed fine but somehow the left shoe bruised my heel. I used them only 2 times for running and each time the same heel was bruised. Even for walking I get the same result. I used asics for running before and never had issues like this lateral heel spur. Could you please advise? Is this a common issue?
