Fit was great but width of the heel prevents proper fitting into the rower footbeds.

The shoes were horribly on the small side. Uncomfortable isnt even really a way to describe the shoes. Im not sure what these new shoe companies that are popping up are trying to achieve but it just doesnt seem possible with our current means on this planet. Most new shoes are horribly uncomfortable, or are built for specific situations that dont apply to all people. Whatever happened to good, old, reliable, tennis shoes? Unfortunately, those days are gone and youre stuck trying to navigate the mass of fancy Tennis shoes, Running shoes, Training shoes, etc. etc. etc. Bring back a comfortable shoe for less than $100. We dont want all the other pizazz.

Very light weight, but missing stability found in pervious GT models. After each wear my back hurts.

These shoes feel great. They may not be the most stylish gym shoes, but they are feather light with great arches.

While the shoe continues its improvements from season to season, one improvement is NOT appreciated. The tongue on this shoe is a vast departure from standard cushioned tongues and has been replaced with a very thin tongue with the tiniest bit of engineered cushioning. This consistently causes irritation, to the point of feeling bruised. I hope this experiement in refining the shoe and shaving off fractions of an ounce at the expense of comfort over long distances is abandoned.

The initial feel is great. Very comfortable, lightweight shoe. I don't think this version comes in a max comfort which is the ride I prefer. That said, it holds up pretty well on shorter runs. It seems to lose some of its support/comfort in the later stages of longer runs. But its the shoe that comes in the size that I need and overall it is manageable.

Asics makes great shoes, but they missed with this one. The tongue has very little padding which makes the shoe uncomfortable. I hope version 13 has a padded tongue.

I tried this shoe on in-store. Admittedly, I prefer a wide or extra-wide width which are not available yet. I own three pairs of GT-2000 10(s) wide, my favorite shoe ever! Also, I have one GT-2000 11 wide. The changes made from 10 to 11 didnt make the shoe any better, and although not as good as the 10, I still purchased a pair and am satisfied. The version 12 is another story altogether! Although the 8mm heel to toe drop is the same, the 12s heel height increased 10mm and the toe section feels much higher also. Basically, the extra heights makes the sneaker less stable feeling compared to the 10 and 11. Also, the heel and mid-sole gel cushioning feels significantly stiffer and less plush (non-gel like feeling, which is why most people purchase ASICS in the first place). Definite thumbs down for the GT-2000 12 overhaul.

Excellent shoes. This is my first pair of shoes since the pandemic began and I have to say these feel great on my feet. My feet are 10-3/8" long and have very low arch. I ordered size 9.5 and they fit perfectly with room to swell.

Having owned at least Two colors of every GT-2000 for the last 6+ years. This is by far the best version of this shoe. Still has the support I need, but the bottom is more responsive and bouncy.

I have 150+ miles on these shoes and at this point just looking forward to their retirement. They fit true, good lockdown, no blisters or hotspots, but the midsole is just so blah. Perhaps because it's a stability shoe and the FF Blast+ formula is different (I dont know this to be the case) but it feels unforgiving and dead. I thought maybe a break in period would make these shoes better, but after over 150 miles I've concluded they're duds. Just get yourself a pair of the Novablast 4's.

The toe box tapers down so that it is too narrow. I wish that ASICS had not changed the toe box design. The last one that I had that fit well was the model 9.

Unfortunately this shoe doesn't come in a wide which is what I need and had to return both the 14 and 15 because I did like it.

Toe box is fine. Overall volume is tight. I need to loosen the laces to accommodate my foot volume. That makes it difficult to use the last set of eyelets to lock down my heel. More volume or longer laces would help. The construction of the shoe appears solid and after 30 miles there isn't any visible wear on uppers or sole. Plenty of cushioning and stability for walking.

The shoes could have been a bit longer for toe room. I generally wear a 10 1/2. The color I saw on the computer was much different than the shoes.

I've been wearing the GT series for 10+ years, and I'm so disappointed that they changed this year's fit. The toe box is smaller and now compresses my toes in a way that I can't use these shoes for long runs or even walks really. Still great support, and I like the new colors this year, but very disappointed with the change in fit

Fit ok, it better be for $134. You're out of stock EE in the shoes I wanted @ $100. Called just now letting you know the laces on EE shoes are NOT long enough to tie single let alone double lock knot especially when you use the lock loop (extra hole at top). Same problem with my last pair of ASICS.
Nice lady on phone got me $15 rebate to buy laces here. Thank you.

I've liked ASICS shoes for decades, but these were a real disappointment. The foam sole is so thick that I turned my ankles several times wearing them on simple walks over dirt trails. The foam is far too think and tall, but the rear foam is so much thicker than the front that the shoes actually pitch you forward, making you feel off balance. Lastly, the heel cup on one of the shoes failed, leading to deep, painful blisters. ASICS needs to stop trying to be HOKA and go back to being ASICS.

Good comfort and support but terrible traction even mildly damp sidewalks are hard to run on with how much slipping this do.

the asics stripes are placed in such a way that they irritate the side of my foot. I've been wearing asics for 10+ years - very disappointing
