First time trying the GY line, and it was amazing. I am flat footed so I ordered the wide version. It was very comfortable and very very light!

Easy to break in and wore these on an extensive walking trip throughout Mexico. A+

I've been running the GT series for 10 years and this model has the comfort and support I expect from the 2000 series. The slight improvements are a welcomed addition.

Perfect. Love the black-on-black look. They are super lightweight. Perfect for everyday and some short runs

The 12 saw some slight changes from previous models, but all for the better. The redesigned upper includes a thinner tongue that still seems to feel softer than before. The additional underfoot cushioning is hardly noticeable (in a good way), as the 2000 still has great support, yet feels light. I've been running in the GT-2000 for years, and hate when my favorite shoe gets changed, but they did it right with the 12 series.

Shoes are narrow at the toes but wide at the heel. Makes all your toes bunch up at the front

Ive been buying ASICS for years for running, tennis, and golf, and have noticed a drop in quality relative to price point. If I spend $140 for a pair of tennis shoes I expect those shoes to last a few seasons. In recent years they are only good for one year. It has made it necessary to switch brands.

The shoes are great you need more variety for extra wide shoes you only typically carry the black or Grey style

Great shoes for Running, MTN Biking, Weightlifting, even just going for a walk.

Frustratingbought these as a birthday gift for my father on December 1 and we have not received the package yet.

I been using ASICS for a number of years and always feel they are the most supporting and comfortable sneaker I have ever worn. They also last long plus their prices I think are very reasonable.

Wide toe box is nice! Comfortable running shoes. Decent grip. I haven't found a thing to complain about them yet. Put 25 miles on them or so so far without issue. Really glad I picked these.

Good shoe but not for me. Lacks the softness and bounciness of Novablast.

The GT 2000 12 I recently purchased are the most recent of the dozens of GT 2000 series shoes I've bought over the past 10 to 15 years. They're a very nice upgrade over previous models I've owned. The "slip in " feature of the heel is great. And the new, revised thinner tongue that stays in place is also a welcome enhancement. Every 4 or 5 years I try something new in terms of shoes, and I always return to the GT 2000's. This model is a very nice noticeable upgrade. Keep up the great work Asics!

Still comfy and true to size but does not feel as stable at the heel plant of a stride as my previous several versions of this shoe has. Ive been a big fan of the last 5-6 versions of the GT 2000. Im thinking the sole construction and material composition is different. Still, a very serviceable shoe.
