Love the construction, sole design, stickiness, weight, color, and design of this shoe. Not loving the somewhat small toebox area that squishes my small toes together a bit, and definitely not loving whatever extra material Asics put under the ball of the foot area. Coming from an old pair of Gel Domains, these appear to be much more focused on providing cushion and leverage for jumping, which makes sense for a volleyball shoe. Unfortunately I bought these for pickleball. The extra material under the ball of the foot shifts the balance of your foot to the outside of your foot and makes you a bit less steady on your feet. I'm sure I'll get used to them, and now that I've played in them I can't return them, but I couldn't say I'd buy them again, at least for Pickleball.
